The color scheme for painting the imitation of timber was chosen by our manager and here we have a bright and cozy dream country house of the Pushkov family!

The rational use of the attic space as a space suitable for full-fledged living is becoming more and more fashionable. The idea is not new, and in European countries it has long been practiced in the construction of low-rise buildings.

An additional room, even if it has an unusual shape, can be used very effectively, just like remote balconies and loggias. Several rooms on the upper floors can be equipped for various purposes, helping to solve the problem of tightness in small houses.

It is important to note to make a project beautiful home you need to initially make all the necessary conditions for arranging the attics and balconies of the building: arranging windows, insulating walls and ceilings, if necessary individual heating top floor.

Why do you need a balcony in a private house?

In the attic slope in the attic part, balconies are often placed, while the part of the roof that is above the structure remains uncovered with roofing material. Starting from the top roofing material, mount the partition of the doorway for the balcony, passing perpendicularly down. Spaces in the form of voids on both sides are eliminated with the help of various building materials. The section of the ceiling of the upper floor, which serves as the floor for the attic, is left to organize the balcony of the required length.

You can increase the balcony space by installing a non-standard concrete slab right size. Side railings can be made of the material that the residents of the house most liked: reinforced slabs, forged and wooden railings, or other alternative solutions.

Why, in essence, you need a balcony, consider the main points:

  • The balcony is an additional area, it is a very profitable extension in houses where there is cramped living quarters. The room can be used for recreation or work.
  • The balcony is the brightest room in the house due to its design. It perfectly compensates for the feeling of being overwhelmed by the lack of daylight in rooms with limited access to natural light.
  • The shape of the house with the addition of a balcony takes on a completely different design look in the architectural solution. The balcony is both an ornament and a useful piece of the building.

Low-rise buildings can simultaneously use several types of balconies and loggias.

What are the balconies in country houses?

When carrying out a house building project with your own hands, it is important to choose the most correct and acceptable solution with the determination of the material from which the balcony will be made, but the correct choice of the type of balcony is also important.

There are three main types of structures:

  • Attached type of balconies. One of the most promising and convenient in construction for several reasons: low financial costs, fastening to the walls is carried out using consoles, which take on part of the load. The point foundation, which is used for these types of structures, absorbs the rest of the mechanical loads.
  • Attached types of balconies. They are used in the construction of low-rise buildings and in the first two floors of multi-storey buildings. The arrangement of such a balcony requires free space for the installation of a point foundation and supports, which will equally distribute the mechanical load. Balconies of this type are reliable in operation.
  • Hinged types of balconies. With the help of special fasteners on the facade of the house, installation work is carried out. Balconies of these types can be installed on almost all types of buildings.

Also loggias and balconies are divided into two types: open and closed. Classifying designs, it is worth mentioning the types of balconies and loggias according to national characteristics, the most popular are Italian, Swedish, Spanish, French and American.

Brick or wooden country house with a balcony

Developers often make a choice in favor of environmentally friendly materials, and this is completely the right decision for many reasons.

If you choose from these two materials, then you need to consider the following points:

  • What will the house be used for?
  • How often the house will be used as a dwelling.
  • The financial possibilities of the developer.

brick country houses are much less common than buildings assembled from timber, or other similar material. To wooden house attach brick balcony not advisable, besides, most construction companies offer ready-made buildings with ready-made balconies.

Another thing is if the customer chooses a country cottage, in most cases they are made of brick. A brick balcony in such buildings is a more suitable option.

A simple option: a house with an attic and a hanging balcony

Using the attic space, residents have the opportunity to expand their housing to equip additional rooms. An attached balcony can increase the number of rooms, especially in those buildings where every meter of usable space is important.

Hinged balconies in this case are an acceptable option for buildings with attics.

For maximum reliability, the most suitable option is to remove the desired space during installation work interfloor floors. Often, concrete slabs pinched in pedimental concrete slabs are used for mounting walls. At the same time, it is possible to thoroughly insulate the balcony.

For wooden one-story or two-storey houses with attics, this option is unsuitable; in this case, the design of balconies is mounted on beams of large sections that protrude from the walls. The use of consoles in houses with originally planned cold attics requires partial dismantling of buildings to change the truss.

Balcony-loggia in the pediment, built-in version

If the walls in the building are not designed for significant loads, and there is no possibility to mount additional supports, the most suitable option is to equip built-in balcony-loggia. To do this, you will need to move part of the pediment deep into the attic, which will lead to a decrease in the area of the upper floor.

The ideal solution for equipment in the attic of the balcony-loggia is to extend the roofing material beyond the wall with reinforcement of the ceilings with consoles. In this case, the pediment does not stand out from the level of the wall, the platform extends, which does not affect the reduction in the area of other rooms.

Designing private frame houses, you can plan in advance the installation of an external or built-in type of balcony-loggia. By attaching an additional veranda on the ground floor, you can use load-bearing supports for arranging remote balconies. In this case, there is no need to sacrifice the size of the upper rooms.

Features of this type of balcony device

The built-in option is not always a suitable solution for buildings with walls that are made of a material that is unable to withstand large mechanical loads.

When designing balconies in houses with such technical specifications it is important to correctly determine the type of material, dimensions and weight of the entire structure, this is the most important feature of this option.

If the mass of the balcony is limited, such rooms are most suitable for warm periods of the year, since there is practically no wall insulation there.

Balcony in the attic in the slope of the roof

The absence of gables in tent and hip type roofs forces many homeowners to use the installation of balconies in the attic in the plane of the slope or to install it by moving it beyond the boundaries of the overhang.

First option is a type of balcony, with railings in the side and front of the structure. Their beginning is the roofing, and the balcony itself is a niche, which is especially reminiscent of the design of the loggia. The disadvantage of this type balcony is a reduction in the area of the attic. Installation of a balcony requires changes in the rafter part by installing an additional pediment of the dimensions that the design uses.

Depending on the material from which the building is made, it can be used in the roof slope hinged balcony type. If a concrete slab is used as a floor, initially, during the construction of a house, it is possible to extend the part of the required size. It will serve as the basis for arranging a hinged balcony in the attic slope.

French balcony or window-transformer

The use of double-glazed windows
specially made for arranging balconies? one of the simplest options for mounting in a roof slope. The disadvantage of the design is the limited size of the room, but a definite plus - the whole room is protected from bad weather, and is an observation deck of an ordinary balcony.

The design was called the "French balcony" because of the blurred boundaries, when, before it had time to start, the room already ends with a small ledge near the door, which allows you to just be stable in a small area.

The design of the window is made of two sections, which allow, when the lower part is pulled forward, to act as a railing, while the upper part is a hinged part. Double-glazed windows have standard sizes, but by installing several of them at the same time, you can increase the size of the balcony room to the required one.

Balconies, like terraces, are convenient to use for airing the room and relaxing in the fresh air. The design is quite safe to use.

Two-storey house with a balcony

A balcony in a private house is not considered a mandatory architectural solution. For some, this element seems like an excess (after all, to go out into the fresh air, it’s enough to go down to the garden), someone is stopped by the cost of building and finishing additional space, most prefer verandas or terraces.

But still, many owners of suburban real estate opt for balcony areas as a cozy place to relax or expressive facade design.

Using the example of a 2-storey mansion project, we will talk about the design and compositional features of using a balcony.

Ready project of a house with two balconies

Country residence with a total area of 560 sq. m is made in a classic style. The building looks compact due to the symmetrical layout and the integrity of the facade decor.

The architectural solution provides:

  • garage for 2 cars;
  • corner veranda;
  • balconies on the central and side facades.

Help of the company "TopDom"
A balcony as an architectural element can perform 3 tasks:

1. Serve for the convenience and relaxation of households (plus the opportunity to be in the air without going down, well suited for older people or those with disabilities).
2. Be a decoration of the facade, participate in the creation of an attractive exterior.
3. Maintain the planning solution of the building - act as a roof for the protruding porch, terrace, bay window on the first floor, cover the differences in the rugged facade, niches.

A two-story house with a large balcony is also distinguished by improved fire safety. In a spacious building with elongated corridors and wooden stairs, which can block the way to the street, such a platform will help to evacuate people.

Design features of balconies

Regardless of the appearance, three parts are distinguished in any balcony design:

  • base plate;
  • fencing;
  • additional elements (canopy, wind screen).

For the manufacture of the basis of the structure - slabs - usually reinforced concrete or wood is used. The first option is only suitable for buildings with strong walls made of materials that can withstand a high load: stone, brick, reinforced concrete blocks. The second option is lighter in weight.

In project two-story house with a balcony and a garage, the load-bearing walls are made of brick and will cope with the increased load perfectly. A wide balcony crowned with a triangular pediment is the central element of the main façade, which focuses on the design of the entrance portal with a colonnade.

Double columns on both sides of the aisle perform a decorative function and at the same time a practical one: they are a support for the balcony slab and the gable ceiling. On the side facade, the balcony also rests on a series of columns, only single ones.

What methods of fixing a balcony slab exist?

  • the base plate is recessed into the wall during the construction of the box;
  • beams are pinched into the wall, and the base is already placed on top of them;
  • the plate is supported by triangular brackets;
  • the plate has several supports (one of them is facade wall, the rest - columns, racks or other walls);
  • the attached balcony is placed on four independent supports, such a structure can be installed after the construction of the house is completed (in fact, this is a terrace on the second floor).

Expert "TopDom" advises
The option of a balcony in a two-story cottage with several supports is considered universal, because. can be of any shape and size. Of course, the arrangement of columns, racks and other supporting structures increases the cost of construction.
A profitable solution would be when such a balcony is a canopy for the built-up ground floor and is located on top of the porch, covered terrace, bay window.

The material of the walls of the building affects the choice base plate: its base will be made of reinforced concrete, wood, metal, their combination. Only a qualified specialist will competently choose the type of balcony structure, the material for its base, prepare calculations for reinforcement, and determine methods for attaching fences. Its task is to make the balcony safe, stable and durable.

Options for the location of balconies in a two-story house

In the compositional solution of facades, each architectural element should occupy a reasonable place.

AT this project- two placement points:

  • above the central porch
  • along the side facade

The area above the main entrance can be used as a place to relax: put chairs and a tea table here. The pediment as a canopy will protect from rain and hot sunlight. On the back side of the mansion there is a corner seating area, covered with a roof slope.

Due to the use here of a colonnade and a wrought-iron fence, as on the side facade, the composition of a two-story house with a veranda and a balcony acquires a holistic image.

The location of the balcony above the entrance group is a common technique for projects in classical architectural styles.

Here are some more examples from the portfolio of the TopDom team:

  • the design of a two-story brick mansion with balconies combines a wide central railing above the porch with neat French balconies ("French" is the decorative railing of window openings);

  • the project of a country residence includes the design of the main entrance portal with a large covered area, continued on the second floor with the same spacious balcony with columns;

  • in a beautiful two-story house with a balcony, its location above the main entrance balances the composition, and the facade seems more harmonious. The corners of the rear facade are decorated with open balconies without canopies.

There are no rigid canons of symmetry in modern architectural styles; when placing balconies, they are guided by considerations of functionality, layout and decor. As, for example, in the project of a cottage with an asymmetrical facade.

Design of balcony railings
Most often, in projects of two-story houses with a balcony, they use open type structures (without glazing). Hence - great attention to the choice of fencing material and style.

The mansard roof is successful combination two useful functions at once. The first is the external aesthetics of the house, expressed in the original design. The second is a noticeable expansion of living space due to design features roofs. Let's see what types of attics are, what is the complexity of their construction, and find out at what stage of construction it is necessary to think about the interior of the attic room.

The practical purpose of the attic is to make an ordinary attic a functional room where you can live comfortably. For the construction of roofs of this type, you can use different types of roofing:

  • metal tile made of aluminum or steel. The material comes in various geometric shapes, thicknesses and colors. Resistantly endures any climate and weather phenomena, does not deform (withstands thick snow, ice);
  • glass. Completely glass roofing is rarely done. Such roofs are not suitable for cold climates; they are more often erected in southern latitudes. They require the development of a detailed project and a strict calculation of the load;
  • SIP panels. The material is based on pressed wood chips and expanded polystyrene, which in combination gives a low load on the structure and an excellent thermal insulation effect;
  • corrugated board. Reliable in operation, differs in reasonable price thanks to what became the most demanded covering for a roof. It is a sheet of metal with a polymer surface, which is produced in various colors.

It is necessary to choose the coating material for a house with a mansard roof at the design stage, since the main load on the supporting structures or rafters depends on the type of roof.

The peculiarity of such a roof lies in one inclined plane, which rests on rafter system. The optimal angle of inclination is kept from 5° to 40° depending on the roofing material (soft/hard), which ensures the timely removal of snow or raindrops from the coating.

Installation involves a detailed calculation of the load on the rafters and the load-bearing wall, which receives the maximum load in a shed attic. These parameters are determined depending on the length of the spans and the height of the room.

A shed roof is great for one-story houses, where a compact attic can be easily “converted” into a cozy and warm room (for example, for storage or a small bedroom).

The variant of the roof with two slopes makes the ceiling height uniform over a larger area of the room. Both sides are maintained at the same angle of inclination, which is determined depending on the size of the room (for example, for a 6-meter width, the angle is 45 °).

A gable attic allows you to build a two-story house with a balcony, which is often located at the end of the building. Thanks to the standard roof with two slopes, the usable space inside the attic increases, and you can build such a structure yourself according to the drawings.

The main thing is to make an accurate measurement of all the details and correctly mount the roofing "pie". Between the coating and the rafters, it is necessary to lay vapor and waterproofing, a layer of insulation. Any type of material is suitable for this type of roof (from soft roof to corrugated board).

The gable roof design is suitable for building a house with a garage. In technical terms, this is the simplest type of attic, where the roofing from part of the slope smoothly passes into the flat roof of the garage. The slopes in such projects are made multi-level, where the large side captures the garage building.

The broken format makes it possible to allow a smaller angle of inclination, and increase the height of the walls, in order to obtain an extremely functional attic space as a result. The advantage of such a roof is a reduced load on the rafters due to two (or more) slopes, which timely release the coating from precipitation.

The sloping roof differs from the standard in the angle of inclination. The upper part is relatively flat, all subsequent ones are steep. Technically, the broken format has something in common with a semicircular roof, but it is much easier to build and requires less effort.

When developing a project, it is important to consider the material of the gables. For example, elements made of brick or stone, which are mounted on the ends of the building, increase the load on the structure. The frame pediment reduces this load, it can be insulated from the inside of the attic, but the stone one - only from the outside.

The technical feature of this option is the low height of the walls, since each of them simultaneously rises. Accordingly, the volume of functional space narrows. However, the hipped roof is practical in operation: precipitation instantly falls without settling on the roof.

You can expand the attic space by installing a hipped roof, which is a kind of sloping roof (for building widths within 6 m). In this case, the structure on each side of the house is equipped with rectangular slopes, consisting of two planes. The attic is spacious, but construction costs are reduced.

The classic version of the roof consists of four slopes, which are connected at the top point - on the ridge. At the same time, two of them are distinguished by a triangular shape and are located at the ends of the building, the other two are made in the form of a trapezoid.

The construction of such a roof requires professional project development, since gaps in the calculations can result in breakdowns or destruction. The hip type of the roof allows you to make a two-story house out of a one-story house, since the attic area is spacious.

The design feature lies in the height of the ceiling, which peaks at the central point, so inside the room can be divided into rooms (depending on the area of \u200b\u200bthe house). Due to the absence of gables in the design, the hip roof experiences less snow load.

Using hip-type structures, they erect beautiful roofs of houses with an attic and a balcony. Additionally, the elements are equipped with bay windows or overhangs. However, it is important to consider the climate of the region. For example, windows are mounted on the roof only in southern latitudes with little rainfall. Otherwise, cracks and leaks may form on them.

It is distinguished by the shortened size of the slopes along the ends of the building and the presence of gables. The height of the ceilings with this design is not underestimated, allowing you to get the most comfortable room for life. It is more difficult to build than a conventional hip roof. The system of rafters becomes more complicated (they can be both layered and hanging).

Private houses with a half-hip roof are often equipped with balconies in combination with a loggia (thus emphasizing the individual appearance of the building). Gables make the room warmer and at the same time serve as a “foundation” for installing windows or a door that leads to a balcony.

Half-hip roof technology implies a large number of consumables, so financial expenses for construction increase. Labor-intensive installation will require not only special knowledge, but also practical skills. In this case, it is better to entrust the development of the project to professional builders.

The best option for cottages, the perimeter of which differs in equal-sized sides. The roof structure is equipped with four or more slopes of the same size. It is advisable to entrust the design task to a pro who will make an accurate calculation of the load and wind resistance.

The design is made conical, domed or pyramidal. The complexity of installation directly depends on the number of slopes (rafters must be erected under each of them). Such roofs can often be seen on an extension to the house, where there is a covered porch and porch. At the same time, the format of the roof of the main building is found in various variations - gable, hip.

The main advantage of the tent-type design is the ability to excellently withstand strong winds thanks to the triangular slopes. It is through them that the air from the street passes down without getting into the attic space. The attic warms up quickly and retains heat well. At the same time, the absence of gables in the design reduces construction costs.

The key requirement for the attic is tightness. Careful laying of the roofing "pie" will prevent possible problems in the future operation of the premises, eliminating the possibility of penetration of cold air from the street and seasonal "thaw" of the roof (lack of insulation, hydro and thermal insulation provokes the formation of condensate from the inside of the roof).

To make an attic from the attic, comfortable for living or working, it is important to consider the following points:

  • choose only quality consumable. Subsequently, this will save you from additional costs for repairs or alterations;
  • pay special attention to the installation of windows located in the roof. Here it is necessary to take care of maximum protection from snow and rain, since the openings are a vulnerable link in the structure;
  • wooden frames are treated with an antiseptic to extend the effective life of the material.

Choose the type of roof for a mansard roof at the design stage, since the final load on the foundation, rafters and load-bearing walls depends on the weight of this material. Correct and competent calculation for the construction of the attic, where the features of a particular design are taken into account, will be the key to the successful completion of the construction.

The attic, as a universal type of living space, opens up a vast field for the realization of any design idea. Even the limited attic space can be converted into a comfortable office, home library or cozy room. It is important to think over the style of the future interior in advance, based on the geometry of the building. In some cases, the layout of the room depends on this.

The European design of the attic depends on the size of the windows: they are small, but when properly located, they perfectly let in daylight, making the room bright. Look at the photos on the arrangement of attic rooms on specialized sites, where you can get a lot of non-trivial ideas, and use them to decorate the room beautifully.

For interior cladding, preference should be given to natural materials(for example, lining, drywall or fiberboard). A beautiful appearance to the walls is also given by polymer panels, which perfectly imitate wood. This finish is cheaper and retains the attractiveness of the interior.

The cladding material must have the following characteristics:

  • light weight and high fire resistance;
  • good thermal insulation properties;
  • protection from moisture.

The last point is especially relevant for situations where the roof was erected without observing the technology, which results in the formation of condensate. Drops of water flow down onto the ceiling, seep to the sheathing and provoke deformation (wood can lead, drywall can partially destroy).

Keep in mind that excess moisture will haunt the mansard roof both in the winter season and in the off-season: a small temperature difference is guaranteed to lead to a “thaw”. To avoid such troubles, do a construction project together with a professional builder.

Most importantly, follow the details of the technology when building a roof. In this case, the attic will become a truly useful room in which it is pleasant to spend time and not be distracted by the next consequences of shortcomings.

A country house should be comfortable, preferably large and, of course, have an attractive appearance. Sometimes you can ennoble the building in the country by redevelopment or modern facade cladding. An attic with a balcony is one of the options for such an extension. This is a great way to increase the living space of a private house. Basically, the attic equipment is carried out in the same way as for ordinary floors. However, having decided to attach a balcony to the attic, you need to know some subtleties. The work may take a certain amount of time and effort, but the result will please you. The height of the location of such a balcony will allow the owners to enjoy a beautiful view, which is especially important if the house overlooks the sea, river or forest. Such a rooftop terrace can be a great room to relax.

There are several options for adding an attic balcony. The technologies are somewhat different, and the purpose of such structures is different. Each of them looks unique against the background of the building.

One of the typical types of extension is an attic with a balcony located on the pediment. Such a balcony is made in the process of building a house. It can be designed with a protrusion in relation to the wall or end, which in this case will be in the same plane. There is also an easier option.

This is the displacement of the pediment to a certain depth from outer wall at home.

Appearance attic with a balcony on the gable

Thus, space is freed up for the location of the balcony. At the same time, the pediment should move to the depth of the attached balcony. Consequently, part of the structure between the lower and attic floors will serve as the floor on the balcony, and the forward edge of the roof at the pediment will serve as its canopy. In this type of building, the width of the balcony should correspond to the width of the building, as in the case of joining the loggia.

In order to avoid heat loss through the open area of interfloor overlap, it is necessary to insulate the floor on the balcony, make a screed, and carry out waterproofing. The pediment of the attic should also be insulated, since the attic space is more strongly affected by temperatures.

The wall between the attic and the balcony does not need to be made thick. Otherwise, an increased load is created on the floor in the absence of a supporting wall. Moreover, the partition will not be part of the supporting structure of the roof.

It is also necessary to consider what materials to construct the parapet from. The fence on the balcony is necessary primarily for the safety of residents, and it also performs a decorative function. Railings should be in harmony with the appearance of your private home. Everything in this case depends on the building. Sometimes it is advisable to make a metal fence, and sometimes better fit stone or brick-lined parapet.

Roof balcony in the attic

If you are interested in how to make a balcony in the attic directly in the roof, remember that for the construction of such a balcony, a lunette is formed according to the width of the planned structure.

The opening must be high enough for free passage. From the line in the upper part of the opening, a partition is installed perpendicular to the ceiling. It will have a doorway to enter the balcony from the attic side. Between the roof and the wall will remain open area attic floor. This area will become the floor of the balcony. Triangular openings on the sides need to be laid with stone or brick. It is important to carefully process all joints, lay sealing material, make insulation. After that, a parapet is installed.

Sometimes it is made of metal. Mainly in those cases when the balcony structure in its lower part is extended for some distance from the roof plane. The concrete slab with which such removal is carried out must be well reinforced.

Roof window-balcony

This is a kind of system that can serve as a window installed in the roof, and also easily transform into a balcony in the attic.

The uniqueness of this design is ensured by the specificity of its device. By opening both sashes of the window, you will transform it into a balcony in the attic, photos of such systems are presented in the gallery of this article.

The upper part, when installed in a horizontal position, turns into a canopy, and the lower part, which is placed vertically, replaces the fence.

In this case, both sashes are fixed at any angle. You can also just close them. When you close the balcony, its railing automatically folds inside the window so that they are not visible, and the appearance of the structure is not spoiled.

Such a window provides the attic ventilation function. To do this, just open the top door.

As a rule, such structures are equipped special fittings. It must be of high quality, since its purpose is to protect the attic from burglary. For example, it is important that the hinges on the lower sash are strong. The parts and connecting elements with which the door is fixed at a certain angle must also be strong. The opening system of the upper sash is peculiar. This is a combined design of the door: on the central axis it is medium-turning, and on the upper axis it is suspended.

So that condensation does not appear on the glass of the window-balcony and in the room itself, such a window system for the attic is equipped with a special one.

It should be borne in mind that when installing such a window, a special heat-insulating flashing structure is usually included in the package.

Attic as living space

Today there is a large selection of building materials, so a country house with an attic and a balcony is no longer just a dream for many people, but a very real project. To turn the utility room into a cozy and comfortable corner, you need to take into account certain points. First of all, the appearance of the dwelling will depend on the shape of the roof of the building. So, in structures with a gable roof, there is no ceiling as such. The walls in this case are sloping and are located at a certain angle relative to each other. hip roof gives the designer more room for creativity. The broken shape of the roof suggests the presence of normal walls and allows you to conveniently arrange furniture.

A do-it-yourself attic with a balcony, photos of design examples of which are presented in the gallery of this article, will add zest to the overall architectural style of the house.

Seating area in the attic

To equip a full-fledged living space in the attic, you should carry out plumbing and all the necessary communications, take care of the ventilation of the room.

Attic bathroom equipment

As a rule, this is not the most common option for placing a bathroom. However, well-thought-out engineering communications and plumbing will avoid problems with the arrangement of such a room.

Bathroom in the attic

This condition is mandatory for redevelopment of the attic under a gable roof. This type of roof construction creates inconvenience when arranging furniture and laying pipes.

It is advisable to install a bathtub or shower stall either in the center of the room or on a special podium with steps. Sometimes it is appropriate to install a bath or shower in the corner. The toilet is against a sloping low wall.

For interior decoration, it is better to use waterproof and resistant to appearance mold fungus materials. It can be tiles, acrylic or nitro paint, plastic panels.

Individually designed custom-made furniture successfully completes the interior design.

Sleeping room or living room

Traditionally, it is customary to place bedrooms on the upper floors. However, the presence of a terrace in the attic will allow you to equip a beautiful living room there.

For wall decor, any materials are ideal, preferably light shades. Such a solution will visually expand the space, add air. The original move would be to use mirror tiles or just large mirrors. It is better to curtain windows with light tulle. Use bedspreads from light and natural fabrics.

When arranging furniture, you should be guided by the following principle: the lower the object is placed, the better.
