Bath frame project 3x6. Frame bath projects

  • 03.03.2020

Peculiarities frame baths visible both during the construction of the building and during its further operation. For such buildings, it is not necessary to prepare the foundation in a special way, because the frame itself and facing materials made of wood are light enough not to sag even when installed on fairly loose ground.

Frame baths are very popular because of their economy, compactness and practicality. small room frame bath usually divided into a compact steam room that can accommodate about four people, a shower room and a relaxation room. It is also necessary to have a small terrace or porch in the project.

Spacious baths are usually built in a more fundamental way using materials such as brick or timber, but, nevertheless, even two-story frame structures are sometimes found. Among the obvious advantages of this type of buildings are ease of installation, a record building assembly speed, and a relatively low cost. building materials and works.

Thanks to all the above factors, Russians order frame bath projects much more often than the construction of brick bath structures.

A feature of the compact frame bath 6 by 4 is the unusual shape of its terrace and lounge, which visually helps to expand the space small room.

Option 3 by 4 is perfect for relaxing small company.

The classic Russian bath 4 by 5 consists of a bathroom, a steam room and a relaxation room.

Frame bath 5.4x6.3 m

This project is spacious enough for a small group of friends to relax and at the same time so compact to fit even on a small or almost completely built-up plot of land.

small terrace gives a special prettiness to the bath, built according to the presented project, making it look like a pretty village house.

In fact, inside the building there is not only a traditional steam room and a relaxation room, but also separate bathroom, and a bedroom, which makes such a bath quite suitable for living.

A small structure like this can be built in just a few days, and serve you for many years.

This project contains all the necessary components for comfortable rest.

A small frame bath with a large porch or a small terrace can serve as a real decoration of your yard.

The room consists of a rest room, a washing room and a steam room.

A beautifully defined foundation and the natural color of the wood paint make this project especially pretty from the outside. Inside the bath, there is additionally a small vestibule that protects the room from frost.

The next option is especially notable for its double gabled roof. Such a structure provides an opportunity to equip a second additional attic floor.

Due to the compact dimensions of the sauna, the sauna stove can cope with heating the entire room in any weather.

The height of the attic ceilings is acceptable even for a tall person, thanks to the special shape of the roof.

Frame bath 6x8

The advantages of this option are that outwardly the building looks pretty nice, and inside the room also has a small attic floor.

The first floor of the room is equipped with a separate vestibule and a hall, which provides reliable protection from bad weather.

The attic is quite spacious and roomy.

Russian bath on frame technology 6x6

A 6x6 room with a steam room and a washing room is a classic version of a Russian bath.

The building has everything you need for a comfortable pastime of a small company of people, both indoors and on a spacious porch, which can safely be called a small outdoor terrace.

Large frame bath 78 sq.m.

A feature of this project is the abundance of display windows in the design, which give the room a special elegance.

Inside the building there is a full-fledged swimming pool, sauna and Turkish steam room.

Like frame house, a bath in the same technique is the most economical both in terms of labor costs and in terms of Money, a way to acquire a house for a healthy holiday on your own territory. For the construction of such buildings, if you use the projects of frame baths, wood materials are required one and a half to two times less than for analogues from logs or beams. Besides modern technologies allow the use of lightweight insulation during the construction process, due to which the weight of the structure does not increase much, and the shrinkage of the building occurs less significantly. If you decide to build a bath with your own hands, then we suggest that you get acquainted with the main stages of this work, as well as with different options projects.

Where to begin

Before you start creating a frame bath project, you need to decide on some important points, which will allow you to plan everything more productively:

  1. The steam room can be both built-in and free-standing, so you need to decide how it will be in your bath.
  2. Decide on a place to build. This is important to do initial stage construction, since the construction of a bath implies the laying of the necessary communications. Often, the owner chooses a place for a bath in accordance with the convenience of conducting engineering communications from home there, so as not to complicate his life with autonomous schemes.
  3. Find out the type of soil in the area that you have chosen for the bath. In accordance with this, it will be necessary to choose a suitable foundation.
  4. Think over such moments as, for example, the number of storeys, the presence or absence of a veranda (terrace), an attic (mansard)
  5. As for the internal filling of the bath, it is important to determine in advance the place for the heater, since the location and structure of the chimneys and ventilation outlets depend on this.
  6. Decide on the type of future roof. It can differ not only in appearance, but also in accordance with the structure of the roof. The massiveness of the floors and rafters depends on the choice of the roof.

Experts say that after determining the above basic nuances, you can start working on drawing up an individual project for a frame bath or choosing a project from a photo. As construction progresses, you will adjust your project, but the more accurate it is initially, the less problems will occur in the process.

If this stage seems too complicated for you, you have the opportunity to order a project of frame baths inexpensively from specialists. On the pages of the websites of specialized companies, there are many options for already developed projects of frame baths in the photo. If none of them suits you, the companies will give you the opportunity to order a unique project in accordance with your tastes and preferences.

How to assemble a bath yourself

As the name implies, the basis of the structure we are considering is a wooden frame. It is installed on a mandatory foundation and sewn up inside and out with appropriate materials. Experts recommend making the frame itself from pre-prepared and assembled frames. Each of them includes strapping, racks and crossbars. Depending on how thick they are, the thermal characteristics of the walls of the bath will be higher or lower. To be used between skins additional insulation, you need to think over the thickness of the frame in advance.

The optimal distance between the racks should be about sixty centimeters, but where there will be door and window openings, as well as where the walls join each other, this distance can be changed down.

The components of the frame can be connected with nails of the appropriate length. After assembly, a check should be made - measure the frame diagonally on both sides. To simplify the subsequent work, fasten the frame with braces for a while.

Mounting the walls should begin with the installation of the basement trim. For it you will need small boards (5 by 10 centimeters). They need to be laid with an edge along the marking contour from the outside and fixed at all corners with nails. If necessary, you can also splice them at the joints. To ensure that the boards lie flat in a horizontal position, use the help of a building level.

The installed frames must be fastened both to each other and to the basement strapping, using the techniques that are used in the assembly of buildings of the shield principle.

After that, the building is clad: outside - with panels, and inside - with clapboard or PVC panels.

To produce wall cladding in a steam room, well-dried planed wood is usually used. wooden planks two to three centimeters from hardwood trees. They do not warp and have low thermal conductivity. The facing boards you have chosen must be nailed to the beams in two places.

Each wall and ceiling of the steam room must be equipped with a vapor barrier. But experts do not advise using for these purposes roll materials from bitumen, because when they warm up the room, they emit a peculiar bad smell. It is better to use materials such as glassine or foil films.

A heater for a bath is superimposed on the vapor barrier material.

The frame of the building from the outside can be upholstered with boards made of coniferous trees. They need to be placed in a horizontal position to provide the building with high rigidity.

You can upholster the inside of the rest room with any boards.

If outside the boards are nailed horizontally, then in the steam room - vertically, close enough to each other.

Thermal insulation is carried out in parallel with the sheathing. Almost any materials can become heaters, the most popular are mineral wool, wood fiber boards and wood concrete.

It is important even at the construction stage of the bath to protect it from rotting floors. To do this, before you start laying the floors, you need to process the wood floor covering, as well as logs with a special antiseptic solution. The lags should be mounted in such a way that the lowest part of the floor is in the center of the steam room, where the drain will be located.

Ready-made baths from the frame

If you have chosen a suitable frame bath project in the photo and even watched a video on how to build frame baths, but are still not sure of your abilities and abilities to cope with the task on your own, we recommend that you seek help from specialists. The company can provide you with a ready-made kit, which will only need to be assembled, guided by some of the above recommendations.

As part of the finished kit:

  • Heat frame or "sip" panels for walls;
  • roof panel;
  • Floor made of wooden materials;
  • Mounting bar;
  • Elements for fasteners;
  • Documentation.

The package of documents includes the design of the frame bath itself, as well as a photo with assembly instructions. The papers presented in the folder must comply with all safe construction rules.

Canadian technology

Nowadays, most owners of private houses who decide to get a good bath on their site choose those buildings that are being built using modern Canadian technology. This method of construction has a number of undeniable advantages, including:

  • Significant length of service life;
  • High maintainability;
  • Good thermal insulation;
  • Environmental friendliness;
  • Attractive appearance;
  • Affordable cost (about 10 thousand rubles per 1 sq. meter);
  • Speed of construction (about three days);
  • Use of energy saving technologies;
  • High resistance to external factors;
  • Optimal weight, which simplifies the construction process.

The Canadian technology for the construction of frame baths is based on the principle of dividing three functions - enclosing, heat-insulating and bearing - between the corresponding building materials.

The frame as the basis for the steam room is made of high quality wood or stainless steel. In the process of sewing up the frame, refractory mineral wool must be laid inside it. Such a structure can be compared with a thermos, which keeps in cold weather thermal energy, and in the hot - the necessary coolness.

Bath project example

We invite you to consider one of the most popular frame bath projects in our country with a photo. Despite the unusual and seemingly rather simple appearance, this bath includes a steam room, a shower, and a room, the exit from which leads to the terrace (see Figure 1).

In accordance with the presented project, the entire room is divided into three or more small rooms, different sizes.

The entrance to the premises goes through a terrace, the length of which is approximately equal to the length of the building itself, and the area is about 10 square meters. meters. The roof is separate for it, but combined with the main one.

To the left of the terrace there is a small window and a door that leads to a lounge (dressing room). The area of \u200b\u200bthis room is slightly larger than the terrace - about 12 square meters. meters. The length is approximately equal to the width. The rest room is cool but warm. Thanks to her, a trip to the bathhouse can turn from ordinary washing into entertainment with fragrant tea and board games.

Construction of houses and baths frame technology is becoming more and more popular. This is because the technique is such that even alone you can build, not only a bath, but even a decent-sized house. Despite the fact that the structure is warm (with sufficient insulation), it is also light and inexpensive. Perhaps its only drawback is its high fire hazard, but this is the trouble of any wooden structure, and not just a frame.

Often, construction is stalled due to the fact that you do not know how to properly plan the bath so that it is convenient and safe. This can help finished projects layouts. Ideally, if one of them suits you completely: no need to rack your brains. Although you can make adjustments if necessary. And sometimes just an idea is enough for everything to “fall into place” and a plan for your frame bath, which you will build with your own hands, emerges. To do this, we selected several projects of frame baths of different sizes with different arrangements of rooms.

Bath layout 4 * 5 m

This is a bathhouse with an extensive relaxation room, a small bathroom and a steam room for 4.8m 2. The foundation is shallow-depth tape - depth 70 cm, plinth 40 cm high (total height of the foundation with the plinth 110 cm), gravel cushion 20 cm. There is a small porch that, with year-round use, can be sheathed and turned into a vestibule. Then cold air will not enter the premises every time the doors are opened.

Ready-made drawing of a frame bath 4 * 5 m

Total area 20 m 2, rooms and their dimensions:

  • Recreation room 8.5 m 2;
  • Steam room for 4.8 m 2;
  • Bathroom 2.2 m 2

Required materials to create a frame:

  • racks, bottom and upper strapping are made from a board 100 * 50 mm;
  • floor beams - from a board 150 * 50 mm in increments of 0.58 m;
  • truss system - from a board 150 * 50 mm in increments of 0.58 m.

In this bath project, there is a fairly spacious rest room, and with such small dimensions of the building - 5 by 4 meters, a rather spacious steam room - "in a pure" size of 4.8 squares. According to the project, the stove is heated from the steam room, which is problematic for such a small room: there will not be very much oxygen anyway. In this option, you can, leaving it in the same place, put a sauna stove with an elongated firebox. In this case, firewood will be laid from the rest room, and the heater and the main “stove body” will be in the steam room. With this arrangement of the furnace, the problem of heating the rest room is solved at the same time.

Project frame bath 6 * 6 m

The photo shows the layout of a fairly solid-sized bath 6 by 6 meters. There is a small veranda, dressing room, a full set of necessary premises.

This option is good in that standard length lumber can be used in almost any room: 6 or 3 meters. This is convenient as there is little waste left. The foundation can be piled, columnar. A shallow tape or slab will do.

But there are some remarks on the layout. Washing room for this project frame bath is spacious. This is an option for those who prefer to relax after the steam room not in a cool (relative to the steam room, of course) rest room, but continue to relax in the humid and warm atmosphere of the washing room. Then it maintains a temperature of about 30-35 ° C and a fairly high humidity (due to the increased power of the furnace and open door to the steam room). They also install sunbeds that look like shelves in a steam room. Then a big wash is justified.

Need a larger washroom if you are planning on one. If there is only a shower and a few small benches, then you can either fence off the locker room or increase the size of the steam room.

Bath plan after changes - with a dedicated vestibule

The second remark concerns the entry. If they plan to come to the bathhouse in winter, it should have a fenced-off entrance - not directly to the rest room. And this option is easy to implement. It is only necessary to swap the window and doors and put a partition.

About where and how best to locate.

The total area is 36 m2. Premises and their sizes:

  • veranda 4.5 m 2;
  • rest room 13.5 m 2;
  • sink 9 m 2;
  • steam room 9 m 2.

Frame bath 6 * 3 m with a terrace

This option was developed by the Karkas construction company. The bath itself has small size- 6 by 3 meters. But an extensive terrace is attached to the front part, a little smaller than a bath: 2 by 6 meters. The rooms in this bath project are quite small, no more than three people can fit in the steam room while sitting, and if one is lying, then only two. Moreover, the “lying” shelves can only be located opposite the door and its size will be small - tall man no longer lie down (2 meters, minus the thickness of the skin on both sides of at least 15 cm, the total length of the shelf will be 1.7 m).

In this version of the layout of the bath, the stove can only be placed in the corner at the entrance to the steam room. It will be heated from the rest room, but you will need to choose some kind of high and narrow model - there is very little space for its installation. You can try to fit stoves, there are also small stoves, if you need a reliable inexpensive stove for a brick screen, you can try to fit. There are other small ovens and quite a few. You need to decide on the maximum dimensions that will “fit” into the allocated space or move the door a little. In general, in a good way, it would be nice to move the wall at least half a meter. By increasing the size of the functional premises, because in the summer, most likely, the rest room will smoothly move to the veranda.

And one more nuance: if you plan to use the bath in the winter, then you need a vestibule or dressing room. In this option, you can move the entrance to the veranda and fence off part of the area by making the entrance to the room through the vestibule.

The project of a frame bath with a terrace. The good thing is that it is easy to implement with your own hands

The total area is 18 m2. Premises and their sizes:

  • rest room 11.07 m 2;
  • sink 1.61 m 2;
  • steam room 3.48 m 2;
  • terrace 11.21 m2.

Materials of key nodes:

Sauna 4*4 m with a terrace

The bath itself has dimensions of 4 by 4 meters. A terrace 4 * 1.5 meters is attached to it. This layout of the bath is different in that the steam room and the washing room are the same size. Two, maximum three people will feel comfortable in the steam room at the same time. If a dry-air sauna is planned, this layout is suitable without question.

For a Russian steam room, the option is not the best: at least one person is lying here, and for comfortable soaring in a Russian bath, the shelves should be at least 2.1 * 0.7 m (and preferably 2.2 * 0.8 m). In the washing room, if you are not going to put sunbeds there to relax after the steam room, they usually just wash themselves. It is better to reduce its size a little by expanding the steam room. Then at least one full-fledged shelf can be entered. Although the stove will still be boring, it will be small: firstly, the volume of the steam room is small, and secondly, there is not much space.

The dimensions of the premises in the basic design of the bath are as follows:

  • total area 16 m 2;
  • rest room 8 m 2;
  • sink 4 m 2;
  • steam room 4 m 2;
  • terrace 6 m 2 .

Materials of key nodes:

  • piping of a bath from a bar 100 * 150 mm;
  • floor logs 150 * 100 mm in increments of 90 cm;
  • ceiling ceiling - 150 * 40 mm in 60-70 cm;
  • rafter legs edged board 100 * 50 mm;
  • roofing material- metal tile, corrugated board, ondulin.

Frame bath 5.4 * 6.3 m

In this frame bath project, the steam room has an area of 5 square meters. Also attached is a terrace measuring 2 * 5.4 meters.

The total area is 22.2 m2. Premises and their sizes:

  • rest room 11.3 m 2;
  • sink 5.9 m 2;
  • steam room 5 m 2;
  • terrace 10.8 m2.

Advantages of frame buildings

The frame building is a skeleton made of timber, sheathed on both sides finishing materials. A vapor barrier and insulation are laid between them. It immediately becomes clear that, if necessary, construction can be low-budget. After all, it is possible to use inexpensive thermal insulation materials(straw, sawdust, etc.) which, despite their availability, retain heat well.

It is clear that the weight of the walls with this technology is very small. And this leads to the fact that the foundation can be made lightweight. During the construction of baths, they most often make either pile-grillage,. But also suitable monolithic slab or block foundation.

Lightweight foundation - lower costs for materials and construction, because the foundation sometimes "pulls" half the cost of the entire construction. And in this case, the costs will be relatively small.

For construction frame house no complex technology required. All you need is a saw, a hammer, a screwdriver, and to check the verticality of the walls. If there is another technique, use it to your health, but this is the minimum that can be dispensed with.

An important plus is that you can work alone, only occasionally inviting assistants for some operations. A vivid example is presented in the video: the woman herself, with her obviously non-athletic hands, has almost completed the construction of a small two-story house using frame technology.

disadvantages

We have already written about the increased fire hazard of frame buildings. And this is the main drawback of houses built using this technology. Therefore, it is desirable to treat all materials with flame retardants (means that reduce the combustibility of materials).

The combustibility of the walls leads to the fact that all electrical wiring must be laid in metal boxes or special non-combustible corrugated sleeves. For this reason, electrical work becomes more difficult and more expensive - the cost of casings and corrugated hoses is added.

The frame bath has additional disadvantages: high humidity makes its own adjustments. Will have to pay increased attention wall vapor barrier. When using mineral wool, it will be necessary to protect the insulation from moisture very carefully: when wet, it loses its properties. Moreover, when dried, it restores them only partially. If it freezes wet, it just crumbles. Therefore, we choose high-quality and reliable vapor barrier (not “hydro”, namely “steam”). When laying, we follow the technology down to the smallest detail (overlapping, gluing joints and attachment points, etc.).

Necessary materials

The basis of the frame house - frames assembled from wooden beam. Depending on the planned dimensions of the bath, a beam of 100 * 150 or 150 * 150 mm is used for their assembly. For jibs and crossbars that are nailed between vertical posts, thinner bars are suitable.

When constructing a roof for a Mauerlat, you will need approximately the same beam - 150 * 150 mm or so. For rafter legs, all the same bars are 100 * 150 or 150 * 150 mm. Depends on the configuration of the selected roof and the weight of the roofing material. By the way, it is undesirable to use very heavy roofing material - such as ceramic tiles - for carcasses - the load on the walls is too great.

You will also need slats to create battens, counter battens, and all sorts of auxiliary work. Moreover, they will need a lot: the crate is needed both on the walls on both sides and on the roof. Although, in some cases, the shields are sheathed with plywood on the outside (as in the video above). There are a lot of construction options, as well as the materials used.

You will also need subfloor material. What it will be - unedged or edged board, plywood or other board material - you decide. But all wood will need to be processed. And flame retardants - to reduce flammability, and protective antibacterial compounds. About,

Frame sheathing materials inside and out are selected based on personal preferences or the purpose of the building. If we talk about frame baths, then usually everything inside is sheathed with clapboard (tiles are laid in the washing room), and outside with an imitation of timber or a blockhouse.

As a heater for a bath, it is desirable to use mineral wool: they do not burn. The thickness of the insulation layer depends on the region. For middle lane In Russia, basalt wool is mainly used for baths, with a layer of 15-25 cm. If you are concerned about the possibility of formaldehyde emission (a lot has been written about this), then you can take non-woven mats. They have emission harmful substances minimal.

More often insulate frame baths with mineral wool
  • it cannot be used in the steam room - temperature regimes do not allow;
  • it melts and supports combustion;
  • this insulation costs a lot (we are talking about extruded polystyrene foam).

You will also need a lot of nails and screws. For the construction of a bath, it is advisable to use galvanized ones: so that they do not rust and do not leave ugly streaks on the wood. They will be needed in different sizes and diameters - large for frame assembly, smaller for battens and sheathing.

From all of the above, we hope you have concluded that you can build a frame bath with your own hands. To be sure of this, watch the video. A house was built using frame technology with the participation of only one person. It describes in more detail the construction technology of some nodes.

If you have chosen a frame bath project, decided to build it yourself, but have no idea how to proceed, we recommend watching the video. In it, an experienced American carpenter Larry Hohn tells and shows the technology of building walls of a frame house. The video is very detailed, and takes more than an hour, but by the end of the viewing, the technology frame construction you will be clear.

They built a house for me in 2018, according to my project, by professionals in their field. The project itself is somewhat more expensive than its competitors, but in our village they built 1 more house and the owners were satisfied.

They ordered the construction of a bathhouse, they did it in the shortest possible time, without any complaints about the work of the team.

The full cycle from the production of material to the assembly of the house is perfectly organized. Quality, professionalism highest level. Recommend.

It is very important to find your manager, who will advise not only at the conclusion of the contract, but also during construction. We talked with Igor, as a result, the bath is ready on the site, we use it, everything is fine. Thank you.

Great home, great service! Everyone was helpful and helpful with the selection. You can see everything live - we went to a facility under construction similar to ours, where they saw how they work, only after that they decided to build. Thank you for the patience of managers and builders that answered all the questions!

In 2018, we ordered a bathhouse. We are very satisfied with the work of the employees of this company. Starting with the estimate and ending with a team of builders. We were lucky for the action, we received a sauna stove as a gift!

Thanks for the sauna house. On the site one price is indicated, but in fact it turns out more. But it’s understandable that the price is indicated for the very minimum, like everyone else on the Internet, if you want to comfortably pay extra for extras. In general, "thank you" to the builders.
