First remove the protective film from the apron and install the apron along the front perimeter of the pallet. Take the brackets and screw them onto the mortgages, they are fastened with two screws suitable length.

After that take brackets for attaching the apron to the top of the pallet (small white or black, bent in the shape of a question, as well as steel - always with them a lot of fuss).

Then on three studs or four located on the facade, it is necessary to screw the nuts and put on the washers. Thread from above black brackets in the shape of the letter "G" with a perforated short side, then put the washers (if any) and screw the nuts on top.

Option #2

Shower tray assembly #2

Collecting like this as in the photo.

The only rule, at the beginning add without twisting (try on) so that the mounting plates with holes are one side.

We spin without applying force. Profile bends and loses rigidity. Also a nut rotten welded, may fall off.

All operations basically similar to the first version of the pallet. Only hemorrhagic additional assembling the frame of the shower cabin with your own hands.

For, to quickly and evenly screw all the studs to an equal depth in the same plane, I used to use roulette, measuring the distance from the floor to the end of the hairpin, and then the legs.

From pallet body it is better not to measure, you rarely come across even shower trays, and especially even ones at the bottom.

And now I improved the method using a laser level. Everything is done much faster.

Important

Be sure to adjust the fit of the bottom of the apron to the brackets (most importantly - perpendicularity and normal curvature of a circle).

Then it will do very well complicated... .

Installing a shower siphon

We install a siphon, find the bottom plastic part and top - steel. one rubber gasket with greater concavity put on top. Thoroughly siliconize it.

Insert steel part together with a siliconized gasket in the hole for the siphon. Take the second flat gasket and nut.

There is a gap on the underside of the tray through which water can flow during the operation of the cab. Fill this gap with silicone. We put a flat gasket and wind the brass nut.

Treat with a thick layer silicone thread remaining after tightening the nut, also please don't internal thread at the bottom inside of the plastic siphon.

With our own hands we put the siphon in the shower tray

Neatly, by carving, we twist the lower plastic part of the siphon to the steel. See that there are no distortions in the thread (thread may break, and a new siphon is not cheap).

surplus squeezed silicone smear on the nut. You can't spoil the porridge with butter =)

With the era of water meters installed, the popularity of showers is growing. They are often mounted instead of bathtubs in high-rise buildings thereby saving on water consumption. In addition, high shower trays can replace small bath which is especially true if there are children at home. The article will focus on the variety of designs and the technology of assembling a shower cabin.

Advantages and disadvantages of shower cabins

  • Small-sized shower cabins occupy twice less space compared to a conventional bath.
  • Water consumption is reduced by almost three times.
  • The shower tray most often has an anti-slip coating, minimizing the risk of injury.
  • Sealed doors protect the bathroom from splashes and steam.
  • Additional features make showering more enjoyable.

Disadvantages:

  • More complex maintenance. From limescale have to clean large surfaces;
  • If there is not enough water pressure, the whirlpool jets will not function properly.

Types of shower cabins

Open shower

  • It has the lowest price due to the minimum functionality. Most often, it consists only of a pallet and side panels. To protect against water, you will need to buy an additional curtain;
  • water is supplied only from the shower head, which is attached to the rack or directly to the wall of the room;
  • the pallet can be angular or rectangular. Its choice depends on the arrangement of furniture in the bathroom and on the drainage system. The depth is chosen depending on the needs.

Closed shower

  • It is completely sealed, has a pallet, side and front doors and a lid;
  • you can mount the shower cabin in any place where it is possible to bring a pipe to drain water and connect it to electricity (if necessary);
  • the material for the manufacture of the pallet and walls is different: cast iron or acrylic, glass or plastic;
  • the cost is significantly higher than the open analogue.

Shower cabin functions

  • Despite the fact that in most cases they are completely autonomous, care must be taken to connect all options and their safe operation.
  • Electricity is needed to operate the backlight, fan and radio. Some models of showers have a steam function, so you will need an additional outlet for the steam generator.
  • To illuminate the light bulb, special moisture-resistant lamps are needed.

Shower enclosure dimensions

  • They are subdivided into small-sized, which will fit perfectly into the standard bathroom of a high-rise building. Their sizes start from 70x70 cm and end with the largest in this category 100x80 cm.
  • Medium sizes are in the range from 100x120 cm to 130x130 cm. This is the most popular size, as it does not restrict movement when taking a shower.
  • oversized shower cabins have a size of 170x80 cm. A full length bath acts as a pallet.

leaf material

  • In inexpensive models, they are made of plastic. They have light weight and easy to mount. On average, their thickness is 3 mm. Their advantage is in the choice of models (pattern, color). But they are easy to damage, scratch.

  • Shower cabins in the middle price category and above have tempered glass walls with a thickness of 5-7 mm. They are heavy and it is better to mount them with two people.

shower cabin frame

  • It is made of aluminum or plastic. Deaf and opening cabin doors are attached to it from below and above. Outside, it can be flat or convex, this does not affect functionality.

Door types

  • How well they work depends on the ease of use of the shower. Standard - sliding on rollers, but there are shower models with folding or pendulum doors.
  • Sliding ones move to the side on rollers installed at the top and bottom. Therefore, the joints of the sashes with the sidewalls must have sealing rubber bands that will not let water through during the operation of the shower.
  • Accordion doors are mounted without guides, on the frame they fold to the side.

Pallet selection

  • Modern bathroom designs call for shower enclosures without trays. But if it is not possible to do this in this way, then it is worth choosing the most rational model.
  • According to the configuration of bathrooms, most often they choose a square or corner shower tray in order to position it with maximum benefit for the free space.
  • The most popular pallet depth is 15 cm, but there are almost flat ones - 2 cm, and deep ones - 40-50 cm.

  • In the choice of material, it is better to stay on acrylic. This is a very durable material. It absorbs water noise and is light in weight.

Installing a shower cabin with your own hands in the apartment

Before you begin to mount the shower cabin, you need to perform preparatory work.

  • It’s worth starting with a thorough study of the assembly and installation scheme for the shower cabin, which is provided by the manufacturer. Very often it has many nuances and is quite complicated, so do not rush and carefully deal with all aspects.
  • If it will be installed in an apartment on site old bath then there will be no problem. But if there is a desire to put it in addition to the bath, you will have to obtain permission to install additional water intake equipment, which is the shower room.

Tools for installing a shower cabin with your own hands

Most models consist of the same elements:

  • rack;
  • back walls;
  • side panels;
  • doors;
  • roof;
  • tray and decorative screen.

Instruments:

  • wrench;
  • screwdriver with cross bit;
  • silicone transparent sealant and a gun for it;
  • rubber spatula;
  • soap and spray;
  • level;
  • roulette;
  • hose for water supply;
  • a fitting for connection of a drainage system to a sewer pipe.

And of course, there should always be instructions for installing a shower cabin with your own hands from the manufacturer.

Shower cabin installation steps

The base under it should be even and strong. The presence of a slight slope is allowed, it is leveled by adjusting the legs.

The drain hole in the pan should be next to the sewer pipe. If this is not possible, it is necessary to extend the pipe in advance with a hose and connecting fittings. All connecting elements are recommended to be seated on a sealant to avoid leaks.

Installation of an acrylic pallet

  • First, the pallet is turned over. It is lightweight and easy to do alone. The legs that come with it are screwed to it. Most often there are 4 of them, but maybe 6. Depending on the model, they are screwed into the holes on the pallet itself or to the metal frame.

  • Initially, the height of the legs is made sufficient to place a drain siphon under the bottom.
  • Next, the pallet is attached to the sewer system. A special siphon for the shower tray is attached to the drain hole. Further actions depend on the location of the sewer pipe. If it is at a distance from the drain, then you will have to connect them with a flexible hose. All these elements are connected to the sealant.
  • After 30 minutes, when the sealant seizes, the pallet is turned over and put on its legs. Align it horizontally by level by adjusting the support legs. The inner shape of the pallet should already have a slight slope towards the drain so that the water does not stand.
  • Acrylic enough soft material and when stepped on it is noticeably pressed through. Therefore, the distance under it is often filled mounting foam. It becomes an excellent rigid base under the pallet and additionally muffles the sound of water.

Installation of a cast iron pallet

  • The installation of a cast-iron pallet in terms of connection to the sewer is similar to acrylic models. The difference is only in the design features.
  • Since cast iron is a very strong and rigid material, it does not have an additional frame to which the legs are placed. Its supports are monolithic and are poured at the manufacturing stage.
  • To level it, you will have to put strong plates of plywood, metal, laminate scraps, etc. under it.
  • There is a risk that the pallet can slide off such improvised supports. To prevent this, it is recommended to fix them with concrete. A small formwork is made around each support and poured with mortar.
  • If the final height is not enough to place a siphon under it (it should not touch the floor), you will have to make a solid frame for it. The easiest way is to make 2-3 rows of bricks, providing a hole for drainage. As a decoration, the masonry is lined with mosaics, tiles or plastic panels.

Important: prefabricated shower cabins are not equipped with cast-iron pallets. Most often they come with cheap open booths, where doors are not provided.

Installation of a steel pallet

  • Unlike cast iron, a steel pallet is often equipped with sealed cabins. Often it is put in place of an outdated acrylic base.
  • They are made by stamping. The set always includes a stand made of welded metal profiles. rectangular shape. The stand has screw bushings into which the legs with the corresponding thread are screwed. Due to this, the horizontal of the pallet is adjusted, as in the case of acrylic products.
  • For additional strength of the installation, a small screed is poured under the steel structures, the area corresponding to the pallet. So that after installation it was not noticeable.

Installation of a pallet made of artificial and natural stone

This is a very heavy and durable pallet. It cannot be mounted if the floor is wooden.

  • Due to their characteristics, they do not need legs or any other supports when fastening. Installation depends on design features. Fake diamond is cast material. Therefore, they already provide a niche from below for the location of the drain siphon in it. But models made of natural stone are often monolithic, under them you need to make a pedestal of such a height in order to place drain equipment inside it.
  • First, 2 layers of liquid waterproofing are applied to the area under the future pallet. A screed with a thickness of 5 cm or more is made on top and leveled. After hardening, a brick frame is laid out along the edge of the pallet. The height of the masonry should ensure a comfortable location of the siphon inside it.

  • Now we connect the pallet to the sewer. A siphon is attached to the drain hole, a flexible outlet tube is attached to it, and it is connected to the sewer. In this case, the pallet is located on its side.
  • After connecting, put on top of the masonry cement mortar and install the tray. You can decorate the pedestal with tiles.

Installation of the side walls of the shower stall

  • The pallet is covered with protective film. It must be removed from above, but left at the bottom.
  • There are already holes in the pallet with which the side flaps (non-opening) will be attached. on the corner (with reverse side sash) holes are marked, and the sash is temporarily removed. Under it, a sealant is applied to the pallet, the sash is placed and screwed with self-tapping screws. Excess sealant is removed immediately.
  • Next, they put the central part, on which the nozzles and the control panel are located. It is attached to the pallet for sealant, and to the side wall for sealant and self-tapping screws using metal profile.
  • Then the second fixed wall is attached. It should be exactly on the same level as the first.

  • The lower and upper profiles with roller guides are installed. The upper one is sometimes slightly wider than the lower one. The profile that is placed on the pallet is also planted on the sealant.

Installation of the ceiling of the shower cabin

  • First, the fan grilles and other elements that prevent the removal of the protective film are unscrewed.
  • Immediately, the rain shower head is smeared with silicone.
  • The ceiling is a one-piece structure. It is attached to the upper profile with self-tapping screws. Sealant is not needed.
  • The water supply hose is connected to the watering cans using a special plastic clip, which should be included.
  • A transformer is attached to the ceiling. Wires from electrical appliances in the shower are connected to it. At this stage, the performance of shower heads, fans, lighting, etc. is checked.

Mounting sliding doors shower cabin

  • First, rubber stops are fixed to the profile on self-tapping screws. 2 above and 2 below.
  • Handles are installed on the doors from the outside and inside.
  • Then the rollers are screwed to the doors from above and below. They are attached from the outside. The rollers relative to the clips on which they are screwed have little mobility.

  • One sash is taken and the upper rollers, by pressing, are inserted into the profile groove. Then the suspended door is also pressed from below, driving the lower rollers. Immediately check the smoothness of the move. They should not jam, jump out of the guides or roll away spontaneously.

Shower screen installation

  • First of all, they try it on. If pipes run along the wall and prevent the screen from being installed correctly, a hole is cut in it in the shape of a pipe with an electric jigsaw.
  • The screen will be attached to special brackets, which are located on the legs-supports of the pallet.
  • After cutting out all the necessary holes, it is once again installed in its place, its outline is traced along the floor and removed. The line made on the floor will be a guideline, it is to this length (or less by 2-3 mm) that the brackets from the legs extend.

  • Opposite the brackets, we make marks on the floor. In the future, they will be a reference point for attaching the screen to the brackets.
  • Then we put the screen and fasten it according to the marks made in advance. For decorative purposes, it is recommended to use self-tapping screws, which have special smooth caps that are inserted after twisting.

Following the procedure for installing a shower cabin, there will be no difficulties with its self assembly. At the end, when the sealant has completely hardened, all joints are shed. If in doubt, it is better to pour the water before installing the decorative screen.

Do-it-yourself installation of a shower cabin video

Some bathrooms are so large that it is impossible to install a full bathroom in them. practical solution in such situations, it will be the purchase of a shower complex and the installation of a shower cabin with your own hands. It is also a very economical option when renovating and renovating a small bathroom.

Self-assembly of a shower cabin is a very troublesome and time-consuming process, which is complicated by work in a limited space. All actions must be carried out in stages, performing additional assembly and final adjustment. .

The current hardware stores provide a huge variety of shower enclosures. Many of them have instructions containing several schematic drawings.

Ways of installation of a shower cabin are divided into angular and rectangular types. And also they differ from the types of construction that are:

  • open, in their composition only the pallet and the front side;
  • closed, they consist of a pallet, front wall, roof and rear wall.

The type of construction is selected depending on the size of the room. The main difficulty in assembling a shower lies in the tightness of the room, so further maintenance during installation should be taken into account.

Installing a shower siphon

When starting to install a shower siphon, you should decide on optimal height pallet. To do this, it is necessary to make preliminary measurements, bait and try on all fasteners at the installation site. In addition, you can connect the drain to the sewer.

With a low pallet, a simple siphon would be an excellent option. To ensure unhindered repair and stonecrop, it is necessary to install a siphon so that free access to it and pipes is provided. The siphon must be selected in accordance with the diameter and type of the pallet.

Installation of the shower tray

Self-installation of the shower tray is recommended to be divided into two stages:

  • baiting of fasteners;
  • application at the installation site.

For the first stage, a spacious room with a flat floor is best suited. Conducting it directly in the bathroom will be inconvenient.

In this position, it is convenient to install the siphon and frame.
The frame must be fixed.
It looks like a drain connected to the shower.

Before installing the pallet, it is necessary to connect the water drainage system. This is done with flexible hoses. To begin with, the pallet must be assembled. For this you need:

  1. put the pallet on the legs;
  2. screw long studs to full stop;
  3. screw the central leg on the shortest support;
  4. fasten the pallet to wooden blocks and tighten all fasteners;
  5. set the rest of the legs, distributing the load on the pallet under the level and fix;
  6. insert fasteners for the screen;
  7. put the pallet on the floor at the installation site of the shower;
  8. connect flexible hoses to the water supply and drain hose to the sewer;
  9. check drain and tightness.

The legs should be set so that the water drains quickly.

To check that water is fully drained from the pan, it is recommended to connect a drain hose to the sewer pipe and fill it with water. The work of the drain is better, the faster the water leaves. You can adjust it by changing the height of the pallet.

When buying a shower cabin kit, an installation manual is attached, which indicates all the connection points and attached the necessary diagrams.

Fixing the walls of the shower cabin

A very important step in the self-installation of a shower cabin is the installation of glass railings. This requires:

  1. mark on the wall the attachment points of the side panel, this is done by a level;
  2. make holes in the wall for fasteners, this is done with a drill or puncher;
  3. fix the shower side panel to the wall;
  4. attach the glass part of the booth to the panel and check for gaps;
  5. install both side panels and an adapter between them;
  6. attach the panels to the top frame.
Installation of shower walls

When assembling a closed shower stall:

  1. fix the panel forming the roof on the wall;
  2. put a silicone contour on the back wall, and insert it into the grooves of the horizontal panel;
  3. fix with plastic clips;
  4. attach the front part to the side panels;
  5. mount side panels;
  6. install the top;
  7. install silicone rollers sliding doors;
  8. install sliding doors, eliminating distortions.

The shower walls are installed in this way.

With plastic walls of showers open type sealing is required. Sliding elements require the installation of sealing gum. Pass joints with silicone sealant

Connecting the shower water supply yourself

When connecting the water supply to the shower cabin, it is necessary to use special connectors and reliable pipes. In this situation, fasteners and practical clamps are perfect.

The connection begins with the blocking of the main water supply. Then a hole is drilled in the wall or tile with a drill, into which the anchor and screws are installed, not forgetting the silicone sealant. After that, the hoses are fixed. From the outside of the shower panel, water supply pipes and decorative plates are installed. Then the correct installation and tightness are checked, and the handle is also fixed.

  • When buying a shower cabin, it is recommended to clarify all dimensions, taking into account the dimensions of the room. The method of fastening and the elements suitable for this will depend on the material chosen;
  • Many pallets are made of plastic, which can not withstand the volume of water and the weight of a person, so it is worth building a drain podium;
  • When installing glass elements, the highest safety requirements must be observed.
  • When installing a shower cabin, it is recommended to carefully check the possibility of leaks and tightness;
  • In addition, it is recommended to take into account the preferences of all those who will use the shower. It can be located to the right or left of the front door.

When you follow all the instructions and take into account the necessary requirements, installing a shower stall with your own hands does not involve any special costs. And the knowledge gained during the assembly process will help to quickly eliminate any problem that has arisen as a result of operation.

Shower cubicles both in an ordinary apartment and in country house look stylish and presentable. The modern market offers shower designs of various configurations and price ranges, so each buyer will be able to choose the option that suits him completely.

Before installing the shower tray, everything must be completed Finishing work: the area under the pallet must be level and perfectly level.

The main advantages of shower cabins include:

  1. The compactness of products, which is a significant plus for Russian small-sized bathrooms.
  2. Significant water savings, ranging from 300 to 500% compared to taking a bath.
  3. Shower procedures take less time.
  4. The use of running water increases the hygiene of the bathing process, as the dirt immediately goes into the flush.
  5. Installing a shower structure on your own is available even to a non-professional.

But buying a quality shower design is only half the battle. key point are assembly and connection. Moreover, the most difficult and time-consuming process can be called the installation and installation of the pallet. Modern technologies allow to simplify installation work. A design such as a shower box is an already assembled cabin, which only needs to be connected to the water supply, electrical network and sewerage outlets. But this option, due to the design features of the room, is not always profitable, acceptable and optimal. Therefore, the question independently or with the involvement of specialists is still relevant.

Features of choice

Pallet is one of the most important elements designs. It is on him that the shapes and sizes of the shower cabin depend, and the material of the tray significantly affects the comfort and convenience of hygiene procedures. Dimensions of standard shower trays are varied and range from 70x70 to 130x130 cm.

By depth, all pallets can be divided into:

  • deep (from 100 cm);
  • medium (from 50 to 100 cm);
  • small (up to 50 cm).

It should be borne in mind that a siphon is installed under the shower tray, which increases the total height of the shower cabin by 10-20 cm. If you have not yet decided on the depth of the tray, you should pay attention to the following nuances. Cabins with a deep tray look like a bath and allow you to enjoy water procedures in comfortable conditions. Such pallets also have their disadvantages: when leaving the box, you should raise your legs high, so they are not suitable for the elderly or with diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Although this defect can be eliminated by equipping additional stages.

The forms of pallets are very diverse:

  • round;
  • square;
  • polygonal;
  • angular.

Before buying a shower tray, you should determine the location of its future location. To install a shower room in the center of the room, it is necessary to be able to supply all the necessary communications. In the opposite situation, you should stop by installing a pallet in the corner of the room or mount the product in a niche. For miniature bathrooms, it makes sense to choose corner options, which most often have a semicircular or pentagonal shape.

Pallet materials are not very diverse. Each of them has both its advantages and disadvantages. As a rule, structures are made of:

  • acrylic;
  • cast iron;
  • ceramics;
  • become;
  • artificial or natural marble.

Cast iron pallets with enamel coating are widely used due to their relatively low cost, large margin of safety and good durability. In addition, they are absolutely not subject to deformation. The cheapest are enameled steel structures. But their significant drawbacks are slow heating, high noise, fragile coating.

In addition, steel pallets are the most slippery. More expensive models steel shower trays do not have these drawbacks, as they have a reinforced coating and are equipped with rubber gaskets that absorb noise. Ceramic pallets have also earned their popularity. They are attractive and hygienic, but require very careful handling due to the risk of chipping, as they are afraid of even weak blows.

Acrylic is one of the most practical pallet materials. Such pallets are beautiful, durable, pleasant to the touch. Minor damage can be easily repaired by yourself with the help of special composition, which is applied to the damaged area and then subjected to grinding.

Acrylic pallets tend to sag under weight, so they are equipped with special frame mounting brackets and adjustable legs, which provide correct installation designs. A wide variety of shapes, sizes and colors of acrylic will allow you to choose the perfect pallet for any interior. Recently, excellent pallets made of quaryl have appeared - a combination of acrylic and quartz, which have high strength and wear resistance.

Marble shower trays are ideally smooth surface. They are beautiful and presentable appearance, are not afraid of cleaning agents and temperature changes, scratches. Marble pallets are made from natural or artificial material. artificial marble has the best operational properties and relatively affordable cost, its surface is more resistant to any contamination and much easier to clean. In addition, along with acrylic products, cast marble options are the quietest and safest in terms of slipping.

Marble pallets are quite heavy and can crack even at the measurement stage. They are not recommended to be installed without certain skills. Due to the fragility of the material, the same advice applies to ceramic trays. So self-installation, as a rule, involves the installation of an acrylic or cast iron device. A detailed algorithm of the necessary actions will be discussed below.

Preparatory stage

So, you will definitely need:

  • plumb;
  • hydraulic hose;
  • siphon;
  • crosshead screwdriver;
  • adhesive sealant;
  • wrench.

You should also be aware that the renovation of the premises must be completed before the start. This rule applies not only to cosmetic work, but also to the final installation of the sewer system, electrical wiring and pipes supplying water. Electrical networks must be resistant to moisture and have the least number of "twists", plumbing pipes also need to choose only good quality.

Shower cabins, due to their convenience and wide functionality, are gradually replacing traditional bathtubs in small apartment. However, installing a shower cabin is much more difficult than installing a bathtub. However, this plumbing can be assembled by yourself if you use the right tools, quality materials and follow the instructions on how to install a shower cabin with your own hands. In this article you will find detailed information on how to properly assemble a shower cabin.

The order of preparatory work

During preparation, it is recommended to study all the diagrams and instructions that the manufacturer has attached to the cabin. Instructions for assembling the shower cabin are attached to it upon purchase. It is often difficult to understand all the manuals and diagrams the first time, but it is better to be patient and carefully understand everything. The better you understand the essence, the more clearly you will imagine the future assembly of the shower cabin and the fewer mistakes you will make during installation.

You also need to work hard to get the appropriate permits. If the installation of shower cabins will be carried out in place of the bathroom, then there is nothing to worry about, but if the cabin is installed together with the bathroom, then you will have to notify the relevant services, since an additional water intake point in the bathroom needs to be designed.

  • read the installation instructions before starting work;
  • check that the floor at the installation site is perfectly level;
  • carefully insulate the connection points of the drains;
  • the places where the pallet and the frame are connected must be sealed.

Installing a shower cabin with your own hands is not difficult if you follow these recommendations.

What tools will be required?

Whatever model you purchase, installation and assembly of a shower cabin with your own hands consist of the same steps. The corner options are the most popular. They all consist of the same elements, which include:

  • back wall;
  • racks;
  • side panels;
  • roof;
  • pallet;
  • screen.

Before you assemble a shower cabin with your own hands and to assemble these elements, you will need the following tools:

  • wrench for 19 and adjustable for 45;
  • long Phillips screwdriver with PH2 bit;
  • transparent sanitary silicone;
  • construction gun for sealant;
  • spatula for silicone;
  • spray;
  • dish detergent;
  • drill with a drill 3 mm;
  • roulette;
  • bubble level 1 m;
  • jigsaw;
  • erasable marker;
  • thread lock or cold welding;
  • hose for water supply on ½″ nut-nut - 2 pcs. The length is selected locally;
  • sewer crossing 40×50;
  • toilet paper.

It is better to always have a shower cabin assembly diagram in front of your eyes.

The main stages of installation of a shower cabin

We will study the technique of assembling the cabin sequentially.

Pallet assembly shower cubicle consists of the following steps

  1. On the studs you need to make lock nuts and screw into the pan. We twist the short one in the center. We do it manually until it stops, then we fix it with a nut. If the thread is broken, use a thread lock or cold welding.
  2. On each stud, one more locknut must be screwed with notches up.
  3. The frame is laid on the studs, attracted and fixed on both sides with nuts.
  4. Plastic brackets for the shower cabin screen are screwed to 4 front studs. The perforated part should be on the bottom.
  5. After screwing the legs with locknuts, the pallet is installed in place.
  6. The height of the screen is adjusted to the bottom edge of the pallet edge. Twisting the legs, we expose everything according to the level.
  7. Without tightening to the stop, we expose the lower edge of the brackets with a gap of 20 mm from the floor
    Installing a shower cabin with your own hands is unthinkable without connecting to sewer pipes In bathroom.

Sewer connection:

  1. Install siphon and drain. Remove the protective film around the drain hole. It is recommended to replace the upper rubber gasket with silicone. The silicone is screwed on. The bottom connections and threads are also treated with silicone for reliability.
  2. With the help of an adapter, the siphon is connected to the sewer. This connection also needs to be sealed.
  3. If everything fell into place, disconnect from the sewer and continue the installation.

Do-it-yourself shower cabin assembly necessarily includes installation of side walls:

  1. We release the upper part of the pallet from the protective film, but do not touch the bottom yet.
  2. The pallet is moved away from one wall and an opaque wall is installed in this place.
  3. We connect the holes in the pallet to the corner using 35mm self-tapping screws (without effort).
  4. Mark the holes by running a marker along the corner.
  5. The partition is removed and a 5 mm layer of silicone is applied.
  6. We put the partition in place and immediately after pressing, remove the excess silicone.
  7. We move the pallet with a partition to the wall and, in order to understand whether an additional lining is needed, we try on the central panel.
  8. Silicone joint between the central panel and the side wall.
  9. We connect them with 10 mm self-tapping screws.

Fixing the second side wall according to the instructions for installing a shower room, similar to the first wall:

  1. A fixed transparent partition is tried on. It must be remembered that the oblique cut of the metal profile must be at the bottom.
  2. If everything fits, the profile is siliconized and a partition is installed.
  3. The top edge is flush with the wall.
  4. Drill a 3 mm hole in the profile from the outer upper side and use self-tapping screws to connect the partition to the wall.
  5. We mount the upper and lower profile. We direct the rounded parts towards each other. The lower profile is narrower than the upper one, we apply silicone under it.

Before you properly install the shower cabin, you need to assemble its ceiling.

Roof assembly:

  1. We collect the ceiling of the shower cabin. In order to free it from the film, you need to unscrew the speaker and ventilation grilles.
  2. In order for the fan to work as an exhaust hood, it must be fixed with the markings facing out.
  3. To avoid unscrewing the ceiling watering can, it is recommended to ask for it.
  4. We mount the ceiling without silicone in place. It must be screwed from below with 4 self-tapping screws 16 mm stainless steel.
  5. With the help of clamping clips, we connect the hoses to the watering cans.
  6. By marking and color, wires are connected through the lugs. There is a transformer on the ceiling.
  7. We connect everything and check electricity and water. Try not to wet the top edge of the pallet.
  8. The cabin is put in place and its level and stability are checked.
  9. The lower perimeter and the central pillar are siliconized from the inside.

Door installation:

  1. Rubber stops for doors are screwed from the inside with 12 mm self-tapping screws.
  2. We fasten the handles to the doors. The cap on the handles on the outside must be at the bottom. If the self-tapping screw is not fixed, it is recommended to seal the hole with a plastic insert, for example, a piece of a tile cross may be suitable for this.
  3. Magnetic moldings are put on the doors from the side of the handles. On the other sides - L-shaped moldings with a shelf out.
  4. Doors are put on with wheels. Rollers with a button are attached to the bottom of the doors, which should look up. And on the top rollers, the adjusting screws point down.
  5. The doors are hung on top rollers. In order to start the lower ones, you need to press the buttons.
  6. We test the tightness of the abutment and the smoothness of the doors. There should not be independent opening of doors from any position. The adjoining is regulated by means of screws located on the upper rollers. See instructions on how to install a shower cabin yourself.

Screen installation:

  1. Supporting with wedges, we mount the screen in place. If the pipes interfere, use a jigsaw or a small hacksaw to make a cutout.
  2. We try on the screen and make marks on the floor with a pencil.
  3. We remove the screen and put marks opposite the brackets.
  4. Using a square from the marking minus 2 mm on the floor, we adjust the brackets. With a gap of 2 cm from the floor, we expose the lower edge of the bracket.
  5. We tighten the nuts completely.
  6. Wedged from below, install the screen.
  7. Opposite the marks with a 5 cm indent from the floor, we align and drill holes.
  8. Using decorative screws, we attach the screen to the brackets.
  9. We check the tightness of the junction of the ceiling to the upper arc. If there is a need, silicone compound and press it with a spacer or load.
  10. After the silicone has dried, we check how the watering cans and the switch work. We spill the joints of the cab.

Now you know how to install a shower cabin yourself - the main thing is to follow the instructions. You can choose any product to your taste and assemble a shower cabin on your own. But stores also offer a pre-assembled version, which is much easier to install. However, such models are more expensive and do not fit in all doorways.
