Game mail gmail com. How to create a mailbox on Google (Google) - register Gmail mail

  • 20.10.2019

Hey! Today I would like to talk about Gmail mail service(email from Google). Surely, you are already familiar with him, I personally met relatively recently, about 4 months ago. Before that, I “sat” on Mail.ru, but after switching to Gmail, I realized that the latter is really the best in the world. Why? I will talk about this a little lower.

What made me switch to another mail service? This is beautiful, that is, now my mail looks like this: [email protected] website. Not bad, right? Yes, of course, this can be done in Yandex, but for some reason I settled on Gmail and I don’t regret it at all. Registering on Gmail.com is not difficult, but still, I recommend that instead of the usual registration, you immediately make a beautiful mail with your own domain name (I told you how to do this).

How do I use Gmail email

1. I clear the Inbox folder.

In my inbox, I only have relevant letters that require some action: reply, follow some actions, etc. When a certain letter becomes irrelevant, I just send it to the archive. What is an archive? These are emails that are not visible in the Inbox but are searchable. Here is the "Archive" button:

Also, letters that are sent to the “Archive” are available through the “All Mail” folder. Thus, in my inbox, I always have cleanliness. If you are sure that a particular letter will definitely never be useful to you, then instead of “Archive” you can safely click on the “Delete” button.

2. I mark important letters.

Some letters require an urgent response or are extremely important to me. And while I'm sorting through the mail, the first thing I go to is the "Starred" folder:

Marking a letter is very simple: just click on the “star” in the upper right corner:

If one star is not enough for you, you can use a bunch of marks. To enable them, you need to go to Settings –> General –> Stars:

3. I use "Shortcuts".

For example, at the moment it is passing and it is very convenient for me to collect letters from each participant in a separate folder. What did I do for this?

Thus, you can filter messages by mailbox, subject, etc.

Assign a specific color to each label, thereby increasing visibility at times:

4. I mark as read automatic letters.

Often letters come from exchanges, such as Rotapost and others. I need them, but I don't like it when they are "unread emails". For such letters from exchanges, I also create filters, just in step 4 of the previous paragraph (see above), I check the box next to “Mark as read” (I do not create labels for these letters):

You can also “skip” some letters past the “Inbox” folder or delete them altogether.

Advice: necessarily learn how to use filters, thus you will greatly simplify your life when parsing the mailbox.

5. In the Inbox folder, I first display unread letters.

By default, Gmail sorts all emails by date. It is much more convenient for me when unread letters are located at the very top. To do this, just click on the arrow to the right of the “Inbox” folder and check the box next to “Unread first”:

6. Actively use the search.

Need to collect all correspondence with a specific addressee? Not a problem! It's very easy to do this in Gmail. Just enter the email address of the person you need and voila! , all letters from him before your eyes:

It saves a lot when the person with whom you correspond does not use the message history in email. Then they wonder why I don't answer their letters? And sometimes I don’t even remember what I talked about with this person. Honestly, the search is very helpful. I am also looking for any keywords and really find the letters I need.

Also in Gmail it is very pleasing that all letters that are replies are collected in chains of letters(saving space in the list of letters and the convenience of tracking history).

7. It is very convenient to use Gmail via mobile phone.

You can easily find an application for almost any phone here http://gmail.com/app . Or you can use the browser version of the Gmail site, it's still very convenient (the mail "shrinks" to fit the screen). Also, a lot of applications are released by third-party developers. For example, on my beloved iPhone, I use the Sparrow app, which is really very convenient. On the iPad, I use mail in the browser, everything works great.

8. I open all attached files directly in Gmail.

Did you attach a Word document to the letter? What I usually did: download the file to the computer, open it, after reading it, most often delete it. In Gmail, everything is very simple: open the document directly in the browser, saving yourself from unnecessary gestures:

9. I use ready-made answers.

It often happens that you receive the same type of letters and you have to respond in the same way. For such letters, “Ready-made answers” were invented. That is, when you receive a letter, you simply select the desired response from the templates:

This is an experimental feature to enable this opportunity you need to go to the mail settings –> Lab –> Response templates –> Enable:

And in general, in this “Laboratory” you can turn on a lot of different functions. Look through them, maybe you will find something suitable and interesting for yourself.

10. Hot keys.

It is very convenient, as in any program, to use “hot keys”. To enable them, go to mail settings –> General –> Keyboard shortcuts –> Enable:

  • C - New message.
  • O - Open message.
  • E - Archive.
  • R - Reply.
  • F - Forward.
  • Tab + Enter - Send.
  • ? – Calling help on “hot keys”.

I think these 10 tips are enough to understand that gmail email is really the best And I hope these tips will make your life easier.

I would be very grateful for the retweet, all the best!

Hello, dear readers of the blog site. Today I want to talk about free service Email gmail.com. The main feature of this mailbox is a stunningly convenient and functional web interface.

It is, perhaps, in no way inferior to stationary mail programs, but at the same time it will be available from absolutely any device that can access the Internet. Therefore, using the Gmail box, you can safely forget about such a thing as synchronization.

Besides, Google mail has one of the best (if not the best) spam cutter in the world (it is because of it that I collect correspondence in this box with, and other services that do not fight spam in any way), allows you to automatically sort correspondence by dozens different ways, mark letters, import them from any, and also knows how to remove and send correspondence from dozens of mailboxes that you already have, and even so that your opponent does not suspect substitution.

Plus, work on a secure protocol and warnings about access to your mailbox from other IPs - which could be cooler. Probably nothing, so in this article I will try to break Gmail apart and show all its features with examples. Don't switch.

By the way, most recently it came out on top in the world, overtaking another popular mail service called . However, in Russia it is the undisputed leader, although it does not have any outstanding functionality (it just appeared earlier).

Registering and creating a mailbox in Gmail

Let's start with the banal, but in need of some comments, registration of a mailbox on Gmail. Addresses must be distinguished Gmail.com and Gmail.ru. Historically, the s.ru service at the end appeared before the Jimail mail service, and Google could not get this domain (although, it seems that they came out last year). For example, about ten years ago I almost bought into this incident, because gmail.ru also had a free mail service.

How to create a google mail account

Actually, getting a mailbox is a nice bonus when creating an account. If you are now go to jimail page without having an account in Google, then you will be offered to correct this misunderstanding:

Clicking on the button "Create an account", you will be taken to a page with a web form that you will need to fill out very carefully. Due to the huge popularity of Gmail, it is quite difficult on it, but nevertheless, having shown imagination, it will be possible to pick up something suitable.

For example, you can insert dots in the title, which means that it is acceptable to use the domain name of your site, which is very likely to be unoccupied:

Please note that the reliability of the information you provide must correspond to the tasks that you will assign to this particular mailbox. Of course, Gmail.com mail is very well protected from hacking (work is carried out through the encrypted https protocol), but no one has canceled the human factor.

For example, the simplicity of the password I once invented for my gmail mailbox caused it to be hacked and the subsequent theft of money from my own electronic wallet in the WebMoney system. I registered this email in ancient times, when I didn’t even think about it, so I chose a surprisingly complex QWERTY password. Now, which gives a certain amount of peace.

You also need to understand that an unrealistic alternative E-mail address or phone number can play a cruel joke with you, because they could help you restore access to your account in case you lose your password or your mailbox is hacked with various g-nukes:

In an SMS message, you will receive a confirmation code to the mobile phone specified during registration, which you will need to enter to complete the registration (unfortunately, it will not work without a phone to create a jmail.com account).

Then fill in all the fields, click on the "Accept" button to agree to the terms of the box and send the data. You will be prompted to scroll through a small slider "Young fighter course from Gmail", and at the last step there will be a button to enter the web interface for managing your mailbox - "Go to Gmail".

Logging in and getting to know the Gmail interface

If you already have a Google account, then in the mail you you can always log in from any page of any Google service, simply clicked on the button next to his name in the upper right corner:

Well, or just by typing in the address bar of your browser gmail.com and pressing Enter.

Jimail interface quite understandable and familiar (it has not undergone significant changes for quite a long time, which, in my opinion, is buzzing, because there is no need to solve another rebus on the topic - “where is it now?”):

It has been around for quite some time separation of correspondence to Unsorted, Social, and Promotions (above the inbox). If you click on the plus sign next to it, you can also add "Notifications" and "Forums".

If you don’t need this sorting (like me), then simply uncheck the unnecessary checkboxes on the Inbox tab in the settings (the six in the upper right corner - “Settings”):

When you first enter G-Mile, you will immediately be shown that although your account has been created, there is still something to add and configure to it. In particular, you will be prompted to promptly set up mail import from mailboxes you already have (both in G-mail and in other similar services). We will talk about this in detail below.

You will also be prompted to quickly add a photo to your account and, if desired, choose a different theme. You can really do this right now, because everything is implemented in just two clicks (do not get lost).

Google Mail now has a new mail interface for everyone

Recently, Google Mail has been actively promoting its new interface. You can try it by clicking on the settings button (gear in the upper right corner) and selecting the first item "Try new version g-mail.

While it is under testing and is not used by default. There are not many striking differences, but you still have to get used to it.

If you wish, you can return back to the old interface, and you can also customize the location of letters in the new Gmail by clicking on the "Interface" button in the settings drop-down menu. Three options are offered, differing from each other mainly between compactness and clarity:

I have still remained on the old interface (and I will show everything using its example), but you are free to choose for yourself (I think that by analogy you will understand my screenshots).

When loading the web interface of the mailbox, your browser is checked for support for all this beauty, and if a discrepancy is found, the good old Html version will be loaded. Although you yourself, in case of a long loading of a new frame, you can switch to the retro interface:

By default, you are offered a mailbox about 15 GB in size(however, this is not only for one mail, but also for yours, and), but if you wish, you can already pay for increase this limit.

Those few letters that will already be present in your mailbox tell about some Gmail features(for example, importing contacts and letters from any mail service you previously used) and about the delights.

Pros and cons of Gmail, security settings

What is remarkable, by registering a mailbox on Gmail, you are not obliged to give up all the others that you have received for your long life on the Internet. It is possible to set up receiving and sending mail to them from the Google mail interface. It is very convenient, and I have been using it successfully for a long time (we will talk more about the necessary settings below).

Gmail - an online service that is not inferior to the convenience of email programs

Also, one of the messages that came by default will talk about the convenience of using Gmail on mobile phones using a proprietary application. In general, the use to work with mail is the web interface, and not a desktop program, has one huge plus - you no longer need to synchronize your various mail programs on various devices(stationary PC, laptop, phone, tablet, etc.).

The web interface will be an excellent universal solution, but only if it allows you to implement all the goodies that abound in e-mail programs. And, of course, Google is striving with all its might to become this ideal option, and they get it, to be honest, very good.

At the beginning of its journey, Google Mail was at the epicenter of the scandal precisely because of the ads that appeared with contextual advertising(having your own site, you can, by the way, too) and not because of the irritation caused by its display. No. It's just that the theme of contextual ads, in its ideology, corresponds to the text that takes place in this message. And this meant that the system reads our letters, which caused an uproar.

But over time, all the goodies that Google gave users of their free email outweighed the negative of invading their personal space. In short, we were bought. Sometimes, however, the thought comes to mind that this corporation is gradually becoming an "empire of good", and moreover, how beautifully it all began (read in my presentation). However, back to our sheep.

Let's talk about now security of work with your mailbox. I advise you to immediately get into the settings for this purpose (find the gear in the upper right area and select the Settings item from its context menu):

Immediately notice the link located in the footer (bottom) of the Gmail web interface called " Additional Information". There you can track or set up an alert for suspicious access to your mailbox.

Protecting the entrance to your Jimail mail

If the data stored or received in your mail account is of the utmost importance, then you can sacrifice the simplicity of working with the mailbox and set it up (using a password and a confirmation code sent to your mobile phone). You can do this on the page Security and entry"of your Google account:

There is never too much security, and the main thing is to take care of it before, and not after, the thunder has struck (learn from my mistakes). Well, I'll still briefly describe all the opportunities that this double security system provides. So, 2-Step Verification in Gmail allows you to do the following:

Passwords for applications to access your mail from any device

If you use any e-mail reader applications on your desktop computer or mobile phone (tablet), then after activating two-step authentication, these same applications will not be able to access your mailbox. What to do?

There is a way out and it is quite simple. You will need in the area Application Passwords(see the screenshot above - located on the page " Security and login") click on the spoiler. The page that opens will list the applications that already have access to your Gmail mail account (by the way, you can disable them if necessary).

And at the very bottom, it will be possible to set a password for any application to access Jimail's mail (it doesn't matter, mobile or stationary, for example, an email client).

First, select the Google application from the drop-down list that you want to log in to (mail, YouTube, or another), then select the device from which you want to log in from the second list, and click on the "Create" button. As a result, you will receive a password for this application and instructions for its use:

All that remains is to go to the settings of the mobile or stationary application in order to change the Gmail access password to the newly generated one.

In my opinion, everything is very simple and convenient. Personally, I am very happy with this opportunity. keep your mailbox as secure as possible from encroachments of all sorts of radishes seeking to steal money, websites and other material and virtual values. Kudos to the developers for this.

Well, now let's deal with the features of Jimail mail and the settings of this miracle of programmer thought for ourselves and our habits.

Shortcuts (folders) and their settings in Gmail

To sort correspondence in Gmail, we use labels and filters. The latter allow you to automatically scatter letters according to specified criteria into various folders (labels). The label, in fact, is very close to the usual concept of a folder, but has more features. By default, Google offers you a certain set of shortcuts and folders, which are located in the left column. But we are free to customize everything to our needs.

How to create a shortcut in google mail

First, you will probably need to go to the settings (Gear - Settings) and on the second tab, by activating "yes" or "no", configure the display of the left menu items (some shortcuts can not only be disabled, but also deleted).

There will also be an opportunity to create a new one using the corresponding button. Create label in Gmail you can also when viewing a letter (from the context menu of the icon called "Labels" on the top panel):

In general, I don’t really understand these icons, so for more information and clarity, you can check the “Text” option in the settings on the “General” tab in the “Button labels” area.

After that, instead of mysterious icons on the top panel of the G-Mail, understandable inscriptions will flaunt:

As you can see from the above screenshot, in fact, even the Inbox folder is a shortcut. In Gmail, labels can be nested (previously, this required installing an add-on from the Lab), which gives even more options for targeting cymus.

How to customize appearance and use shortcuts

Created labels should be observed in the left menu(there will appear, as it were, additional directories with the names of the shortcuts), and their configuration or removal is easy to do by clicking on the arrow button that appears on the right (the left arrow opens the list of nested shortcuts, if any) when you hover over any of them in your mailbox:

A context menu will open, where you will be prompted to select a color for this label, as well as make a number of additional settings:

Now, after assigning a unique color, when viewing incoming messages in Jimail, you can very easily see what labels they are marked with.

Although, in my opinion, it is best to configure the filters to automatically delete messages from the inbox if they meet any condition for moving under the label (there is no need to litter the inbox - only unfiltered messages will be there):

When viewing this letter, you will also have the opportunity, if necessary, to remove unnecessary labels with a cross:

Removing the Inbox Label sends a letter to the archive, but it will still be available in other labels (folders, in other words) it has. And, of course, in the "All Mail" folder you can always find them safe and sound. Okay, at first it’s hard to figure this out, but you can imagine all this shamanism as creating the folders you need in the future. There is an opportunity if necessary, but this is already a last resort.

It is clear that when reading messages, you will be able to manually assign them to a particular shortcut (in other words, put them in folders) using the button of the same name located at the top and its context menu. In fact, in this way you can manually scatter letters from your mailbox in Jimail to the folders you need and pre-created. However, this is a dreary business and, if possible, I would like to automate the routine.

Filters in Jimail and a detailed example of their use

How to do it? With the help of a second tool, codenamed google mail filters. These wonderful filters are available in the settings (from the gear menu) on the corresponding tab. There you will see the filters you have already created (if any) and a link that allows you to create a new perfect example of unbreakable logic (called Create a new filter).

In the window that opens, you need to turn on the logic and try to set an unambiguous algorithm by which Gmail will filter the correspondence you need. If someone has used desktop mail programs before, then there will be no problems with this.

If the filter doesn't work, you can always fix it. You can filter, for example, by the subject of the letter, by specific terms found in it, by the address of the sender or recipient (if the message is sent to Jimail mail from your other mailbox).

At the next step of the filter creation wizard, you will be prompted to assign the fate of those unfortunate letters that will be filtered in accordance with the algorithm you specified. For the given example with filtering mailings that came from the left mailbox, you need to check the boxes in accordance with the screenshot:

Let's Let's analyze an example of this Gmail filter:

All. Create a filter, test it for proficiency, fix bugs and enjoy the cleanliness and order in your correspondence on the most amazing web-based email client.

Import addresses and letters to Gmail, collect mail from other mailboxes

Now let's assume that my agitation is for Soviet power took effect and you were imbued with the idea moving to gmail with all his belongings, i.e. with accumulated contacts and tons of letters. It will not be so difficult to do this at all, although not very quickly (even with unlimited Google capacities, transferring an array of correspondence can take up to two days). However, all this will be done automatically, and you will only need a little patience in making the necessary settings.

In addition, in fact, a complete move with all the property to Jimail, this email service will allow you to use all your mailboxes that have accumulated over a long time to the fullest, and your opponents who will send messages to them will not even notice that you are no longer there. live (responses to their letters will come with the same return address to which they wrote). It's actually a great thing, and it also works great.

Import contacts to Jmail from your other mailboxes

All settings are made on the tab "Accounts and Import". In the "Import mail and contacts" area, you need to click on the link shown in the screenshot:

Import is supported from a huge number of mail services, a list of which you can see on this page. At the first step of the wizard, you will be asked where Google will pick up contacts and messages, and at the second step you will be required to enter the password for that box.

After clicking the "Import" button, you will be notified that this is not a quick matter. You can make sure that the process is over in the Google mail settings at the path indicated in the screenshot:

You can teach Google to drag chestnuts out of the fire (letters to Gmail from your other email services), but in this case, the collection will not be carried out in real time, but episodically with an interval of one hour. If it is the speed of collecting correspondence that is critical for you, then it is better do the reverse operation- go to the settings of those same third-party accounts and add forwarding of all mail to Google in them.

Forwarding mail from other mailboxes to Jemail

Well, it’s also probably worth mentioning that in the Gmail settings on the tab Forwarding and POP/IMAP you can set the forwarding of all incoming correspondence from your new Google mailbox to your current main mail account.

And if you are used to using a desktop program to work with mail, you can, if necessary, disable the POP protocol and enable a more advanced one. IMAP to pick up correspondence and read it on your computer.

Useful Settings and Gmail Lab

Among all the possible Gmail settings (Gear - Settings), we have not considered the “chat” tabs (which I don’t use and don’t know what to say about them), as well as the settings for enabling the smart mode of dividing inboxes into important and unimportant ones on the Inbox tab ", well, the tab "Themes", where it will be possible to pull on the web interface the skin that is most pleasing to your eye:

By by and large there is nothing interesting there.

Let's see if we have anything left unattended on "General" tab of Jimail settings:

  1. Interface language - well, there's nothing to talk about.
  2. The maximum page size is the number of letters (chains, which, by the way, are an amazing Google invention - all correspondence with the same user combined into one chain, where you can remember the essence of the matter) and contacts (available from the drop-down list of the Gmail button located above the left list - I advise you to add to all your contacts in the photo settings or for chic).
  3. Chains of letters - you can turn off the wonderful feature described just above, but I assure you, you should not.
  4. Keyboard shortcuts are disabled by default, but it is possible that permanent work with mail will become more convenient when it is activated. The list of hotkeys can be seen on this page.
  5. Desktop notifications - if you are working with Gmail from under Chrome, you can enable this feature, and when fresh messages arrive, a pop-up window will appear in the lower right area of the screen with information about this extraordinary event.
  6. Signature - if you don’t want to write “Respectfully, Dmitry Petrovich!” at the end every time, then just fill it out once in the general settings and this template will automatically be inserted into all the letters you send.
  7. Auto-responder - you probably received an almost instant response with general words in response to your letters (I'm not here right now, but I will definitely answer). This is the answering machine. Stuff like this just pisses me off.

All other settings have either already been considered by us above, or do not deserve to be said about them. So, trifles, which, however, may seem useful to someone.

Laboratory and advanced settings in Jmail

Let's move on to the yet untouched by us, but nevertheless, probably the most interesting tab from settings - Laboratory.

True, it is present only in the settings of the old interface, and in the new one, a tab is placed instead of it. "Advanced". Some of what could be included in the "Lab" is now available there (in the new interface).

But in the new interface, there is still an opportunity on the “General” tab to check the box “Enable access to experimental features” and after saving the settings, they should, in theory, appear on this very “General” tab. But I have not noticed any changes from setting this checkbox yet.

In general, Google mail was born in 2004 and was in beta until 2009. During this time, the "Laboratory" has taken root and has become the main source of innovation in this by far the best online mail client.

I have repeatedly observed that add-ons from the "Lab" over time took place in the main settings. Apparently, Gmail, in this way, runs in new features and issues a verdict on their implementation based on the collected statistics of their popularity (it looks like a test browser, in which successful developments are then implemented into the main project -). Well done, what can I say.

But let's see what interesting things are being tested in the “lab” now, although if you read this article after a while, you will not find much there. I will only consider what I use in my account (I ask you not to kick much for this). So, what useful little things can you attach to your inbox on Gmail.com:

  1. Unread messages icon- a small but pleasant trifle. After activating this function, the number of newly received messages will be displayed in the tab of your browser where Google mail is open. It probably won't be too much.

  2. View area- this cartoon seemed to me extremely convenient, because I am slowly switching to Gmail from an email client integrated into Opera, where everything is organized that way. Now the window for viewing the list of messages can be pushed out and in the vacated area you can view the contents of the selected letter. Conveniently.

Gmail is a free and convenient email service from Google. The best proof of the quality of the Gmail service is the number of users, which has already exceeded 400 million. Security, accessibility and convenience are characteristic features all services from Google. Step-by-step instruction How to Set Up a Gmail.com Mailbox will help you set up your email quickly and easily.

Step 1. To get started, open www.google.ru in your computer's browser. The example uses Google Chrome, but the process for creating an email is similar for other Internet browsers:

Step 2. On the Google site page in the upper right corner there is a link " Mail", which you need to go to:

Step 3. A new page will open where you can see all the benefits of using Gmail. To proceed to the direct creation of an electronic mailbox, click the " Create an account» in the middle or at the top of the window:

Step 4. Filling in the data is the most important step in creating an email. Please note that your Gmail account can be used for other Google services: social networks, maps, multimedia:

Step 5. Data entry window:

The first fields to fill in are the first and last name. You can enter data in Latin or Russian. Both fields are required, but they are editable even after the email has been created.

Next, you need to come up with a username that will be displayed before the “@gmail.com” combination. The mailbox name can contain only dots, numbers and latin letters. Because Google email is so popular, you may not be able to pick up a free username right away. If the option you selected is busy, you will see a warning message about it:

The password from your future mailbox must consist of at least eight characters. For reliability, it is better to include numbers and uppercase letters in it. For security reasons, do not use passwords that you have already assigned in other services, programs or social networks.

In field " Confirm the password» you need to re-enter the password you specified. Please note that passwords must be completely identical.

Field " Date of Birth» is mandatory. In the column " Floor» you can choose the option « not specified».

An alternate email address and phone number is optional. However, if you forget your mailbox password, it will be easier to recover it with additional data.

To verify that you are not a robot, enter the combination of numbers shown in the picture.

Be sure to check the box to agree to Google's email terms of use and privacy policy after reading them:

And so we see the window and we fill it:

1. What is your name.Be sure to enter your real first and last name in this field! Since this mail, I hope you will have a permanent one and will be tied to both your smartphone and your phone, and therefore we write true data! But, if you need mail for an hour or just a week, then according to my lesson, you can easily.

2. Think of a username. You will have to work hard with this field, because there are a huge number of logins registered in the gmail mail service and the most banal ones - egor, anton, stepan have been busy for a very long time. Come up with a memorable login, even with a few numbers, as many do. Use only Latin letters, dots and commas.

3. Create and confirm a password. In this field, enter a password consisting of Latin letters, numbers and symbols. Think of it in such a way that you would easily remember it! Enter the same password in both fields.

4. Date of birth. Well, this is probably the easiest field. Here you just need to select your date from the drop-down list!

5. Gender. Also not nearly a difficult field, just choose from the list!

6. Mobile phone. But I advise you to fill this field! Since with any recovery or hacking of your mail, you can easily restore it using your mobile phone. The mail recovery code will be sent to you by SMS.

7. Alternate email address. This field was also invented in order to restore the functionality of your email address in case of theft, hacking, etc. In the event of these force majeure circumstances, Gmail Admins will send you a recovery letter.

8. Prove you are not a robot. Check the box here.

9. Captcha. These are such alphabets or symbols that are poorly distinguishable at first sight. This is the protection of the administration from software registration. Take a good look and enter all the characters.

10. Select a country and check all the boxes and click the button next. Next, you will be asked to insert your photo, if it is not there, then click DONE. Congratulations on your registration.

Login to gmail.com

If you have done everything that was written above, then you have successfully registered to enter the Gmail go by clicking on the login button above.

In the "email" field, enter the address that you came up with for example: [email protected] In the "Password" field (the window will appear after you click next), enter your compiled password. By logging in with your address, you will see the environment you are used to - these are incoming, sent and spam letters, all sorts of standard gadgets. And now let's move on to the settings.

Gmail email setup

1. Clean up incoming emails.

Clean up your email in a timely manner and leave only those letters that will be useful to you in the future! Since soon your Gmail box, can turn into a huge garbage dump and a bunch emails. After reading the letter, always send it to the archive. The archive contains those letters that were read and sent to this folder. Archived emails are not visible in the inbox. And he left useful letters and removed them from his eyes, very useful! I never implemented this function and therefore I have about 1000 letters among the incoming ones, which is very inconvenient!

2. Flag important emails

A very useful feature implemented in Gmail- This is a mark of letters by importance. I always mark the most important emails so that I can jump to them instantly and not have to search for them for several minutes.

3. Automatic reading of letters

Almost every owner of any mailbox periodically receives the same type of letters from the same address. For example, an alert with social networks, that they sent a tweet, left a message, etc. Of course, letters are useful, but we basically do not read, but immediately go to where it was sent from. For this, you can configure that letters from the addresses that you choose are read by the system automatically. Take a few minutes and make up a filter and you won't waste time uselessly.

4. Use search
