  • Society with limited liability is the most common form of doing business in Slovakia. The main condition for registering this type of activity is that one of the potential directors has a residence permit in the country or is a resident. The number of directors cannot exceed 50, and each of them must make an initial contribution of at least 750 euros (~880 US dollars).
  • Private enterprise - its main advantage is the relatively low cost of its registration. However, it should be borne in mind that such a business cannot be put up for sale or expanded. A limited liability company cannot have more than 50 founders. There are no nationality requirements for owners.
