Vibrating table with your own hands. How to make a vibrating table for paving slabs with your own hands

 • 21.07.2022

For the private sector, this is one of the most sought-after materials for exterior decoration, but it is not cheap, and the coverage area is usually rather big. To make such a tile, you can assemble a vibrating table with your own hands, and you will find drawings and a description of how to make such a unit below.

Most likely, the materials at hand that are available on the farm will not be enough, you will have to make purchases, but the farms are also different - someone may find all the necessary details at home.

Vibrating table for paving slabs and concrete blocks

What it is

The vibrating table consists of a steel table top mounted on springs, which is driven by a vibration motor. The engine itself can be located in different places - under the tabletop, on a specially welded (screwed) shelf in the middle or at the bottom of the supporting part of the structure. The machine is used for the production of paving slabs, and concrete blocks filled with slag or, as well as concrete and reinforced concrete slabs of small size. The solution is compacted in a specially made form for a particular product.

Such a unit, in addition to concrete work, can sift sand

In addition to compacting concrete, this one can be adapted for sifting sand, which is needed in the manufacture of mortar - such a model is shown in fragments in the photo above. Despite the simplicity of the device, it can be different in performance, and this depends, first of all, on the engine power and the working area of the countertop. In addition, the unit may be different in configuration. But, nevertheless, one should adhere to a certain value of the parameter H - this is the height, which should be in the range of 70-80 cm and depends on the height of the working person.

An electric motor with an eccentric (highlighted in red) in the context

The core or main part of such a machine is a vibration unit, on which the functionality of the desktop depends and it consists of an electric motor with an eccentric instead of a pulley. Of course, you will have to choose the power yourself, however, this figure starts from 250 watts or more. In this case, slow-revving units from 1200 to 3000 rpm are suitable. With a larger number of revolutions, there will be a negative impact not only on the product, but also on the structure itself.

Main technical characteristics

Of course, to assemble such a device, you will need other materials that you will have to cut, these are:

 • sheet steel 3-5 mm thick for the tabletop and the shelf for the engine (it can, of course, be thicker, but this will increase the weight of the table and the power requirement of the vibrating unit);
 • steel corners 50 × 50 mm for frame and frame assembly;
 • hollow profile with rectangular, square or round section for supports (legs). Sectional area 40×60 mm, 50×50 mm or ø 40-50 mm;
 • half-tee with a sole width of 70-100 mm;
 • four or six alloy steel springs - a table cover is mounted on them (springs from the valves of a VAZ-2101 car, motor shock absorbers are suitable);
 • electric motor with an eccentric (power at your discretion);
 • galvanized mesh for screening sand (optional);
 • bolts, nuts, washers and spring washers.

In addition to materials, you, of course, will need a set of tools and, at a minimum, this:

 • electric welding, powered by alternating or direct current;
 • grinder with cutting disc;
 • electric or cordless drill with drills and nozzles;
 • wrench;
 • building corner, level;
 • tape measure, marker, pencil or scriber.

Drawing for assembling the vibrating table with dimensions in mm

If we talk about the technical characteristics of such a machine, then, first of all, its dimensions should be taken into account - productivity will increase with an increase in the area of the countertop. The number of forms that can be laid out on a steel sheet in one go directly depends on this. But the selection of the engine in terms of power depends not only on the area of the countertop, but also on the mass of the casting that will be loaded onto the cover. For example, the thickness of paving slabs varies from 25 mm to 40 mm, the thickness of paving stones from 80 mm to 100 mm, and - or from 300 mm to 400 mm.

In fact, the recommended countertop area, if you stick to the factory settings, is 1800 × 800 mm or 1.44 m2, but there is a difference between a concrete layer of 25 mm and 400 mm, definitely 0.036 m3 and 0.576 m3 (more than half a cube of difference). Someone, of course, will refute the significance of such a value in volume, since the blocks are made of lightweight concrete, and in this case they are made so by slag and expanded clay. But right away I want to object to adherents of such views - at the stage of manufacturing a particular material, concrete is a liquid solution and its weight practically does not change depending on the type of filler, since the bulk depends on the amount of water.

Engine and blueprints

Suspended mounting of the electric motor under the table top

Since too much power of the vibration unit is useless, this factor makes it possible to use the engine from an old washing machine, for example, from Riga - almost 90% of the CIS population used to use such a unit, so in the private sector many can be found in any barn such a "washer", and in working order.

Of course, this is very good when you do not have to buy the most expensive part of the machine, but there is also a negative side here - it has a low service life, therefore, you can use the motor for only 3-4 years, and even then with an average load. But if you put the production of tiles, paving stones or blocks on stream, then you will earn money for new units of the unit very quickly.

The engine is mounted on the bottom tabletop, and a belt drive is used to rotate the eccentric

But the operational life of the motor can be increased if its weakest point is strengthened, and these are bearings, which quickly fail under load. Therefore, you just have to immediately replace the old bearings with reinforced ones, thereby increasing the life of the homemade vibration assembly. In addition, you will protect the stator with the rotor from overloads if several bearing balls crumble. This situation will increase the load and if the stator can still be rewound, then the armature will have to be changed completely - it is better to buy a new motor altogether, but it is even better not to allow this.

As you have already noticed above in the text, engines with a speed of 1200-3000 rpm are best suited for construction, but there is also such a parameter as the amplitude of oscillations. This is the amount of deviation from the central axis, for example, if on the eccentric pulley the center of the mounting hole is shifted 2 mm away from the point of intersection of the diameters, then the amplitude (range) of oscillations will turn out to be slightly larger due to inertia. If the engine produces 2400 rpm, then in one second the table top will move 40 times (2400/60=40)! This is quite enough for an industrial concrete unit, where finishing materials are made. Of course, this is not enough for reinforced concrete floors (hollow-core slabs), since they need a production workshop with a large vibrating table and a thermoelectric mold, where reinforced concrete structures are compacted.

It will not be superfluous to recall that 2-3 thousand revolutions for the engine are more suitable for industrial production, where the power of the vibration unit is also higher. But for domestic needs, and even with a large volume of production, it is best to use motors whose frequency does not exceed 1200-1500 rpm, and there are good reasons for this. If at 2400 rpm the table top moves 40 times per second, then at 1500 rpm it drops to 25 (1500/60=25). This parameter will almost halve the load on the frame and such a factor as metal fatigue will not manifest itself so actively.

Note. Assembling a vibrating table with your own hands, especially if there are drawings and a description of how to make such a machine, is not difficult at all, but you can buy it. The lowest retail price of such a unit is from 15,000-17,000 rubles, but with such capacities it will be difficult to put production on stream, although you can still earn extra money. The factory designs have a power reserve, so the service life there is almost endless.

Assembly work

The values (names) of all nodes are listed below by numbers

 1. Support legs.
 2. Tabletop.
 3. Electrical socket.
 4. Fork.
 5. Vibrator start button.
 6. Rubber feet.
 7. Vibration node.

Now let's take a closer look at the build process. Read the step-by-step instructions below:

 • Choose the dimensions of the countertop - if the engine is weak, then 700 × 700 mm is enough. The frame is best made from a steel corner 50 × 50 mm, or a half-tee with a sole width of 70-100 mm. The joining of corners is usually done by electric welding, although bolting is acceptable, but it is unreliable under vibration and must be constantly checked. During the assembly of the rectangle, check the corners with a building corner, and at the end, measure the diagonals for coincidence (tolerance ± 1-2 mm).
 • For the frame, you assemble the legs from steel profiles, which were mentioned above in the “Main Technical Specifications” section (the height must be unconditionally the same, without tolerances). Below and weld jumpers from a steel corner, and it is best to weld plates in the form of a sole to each leg. It is better to make upper jumpers from a half-tee with the sole up - it turns out an excellent platform for springs.
 • In each corner of the frame and in the middle (if necessary), attach springs that can be found in the car market - options from auto engine valves, or shock absorbers from a moped, cut in half, are suitable. It is best to fix them by electric welding, but do not fix them directly to the frame, but weld the glasses on top and bottom and simply insert the spring into the bottom one, and put the glass from the table on top - this is very convenient.
 • When the frame assembly is ready, you can install a countertop on the frame and proceed with the installation of the engine.

Note. If the countertop is stationary, then it is welded to the frame. If you see sand sifting in perspective, then fix the sheet of steel with a bolted connection so that it can be removed and the mesh inserted.

Simple vibrating table with vertical vibration

Now you can start assembling the vibration device, which can be mounted either directly to the tabletop, or welded to the table, and the engine itself can be fixed below, on the shelf - I personally like the second option more, as it allows you to partially disassemble the structure without much difficulty.

To machine the eccentric, you need to make one of the pulleys (preferably on the motor) asymmetrical. To do this, they usually cut one side on a lathe - this is not easy to do, so contact an experienced turner to reduce the radius on one side by 2-2.5 mm - this amplitude will be enough.

If you install the engine strictly in the center, then the vibrations will be vertical, but if the pulley is welded to the tabletop in the middle, and the motor is fixed on a shelf on the side closer to the table, the movements will be vertical-horizontal, which is much better for concrete compaction.

Conclusion

I told how to assemble a vibrating table with my own hands and additionally put up drawings and a description of how to do it in reality. But there is not a lot of information on how to mount the vibration assembly yourself. The fact is that this is a topic for a separate article, since calculations are needed there - perhaps in the near future I will fill this gap.

Having a country house, a cottage or a dacha with a personal plot, it may be necessary to equip paths, gazebos, paving yard paving slabs. If you have minimal building skills, desire and interest, you can make tiles yourself. As a result, you can get products that differ in original design, as well as significantly save money.

General characteristics of the vibrating table

For the manufacture of paving slabs at home, you will need raw materials - cement, sand, water, dyes. As well as a device for forming tiles - a vibrating table. In hardware stores you can buy a ready-made mechanism, it will cost between 20 - 70 thousand rubles. Prices vary depending on engine power, configuration and manufacturer.

Homemade vibrating table on springs

But if the goal of self-manufacturing paving slabs is to save money and small production volumes are planned, then it makes no sense to purchase a vibration mechanism, you can easily make it yourself.

Homemade vibrating table is a metal structure visually similar to a simple table. Its upper part is attached to the frame with springs or glasses, making a gap. Thanks to the engine fixed in the lower part, the table is subjected to wave vibrations - vibrations, due to this, the cement mass placed in the molds is evenly distributed and air is removed from it.

In principle, in the manufacture of paving slabs, you can do without a table, but in this case the quality of the finished products will be low, and the slabs will not last long. Due to the air inside the mass, the finished plate will be fragile and short-lived.

Necessary materials

For self-production of a vibrating table, you will need simple materials:

 • metal corner or pipes;
 • Metal sheet;
 • springs;
 • bolts;
 • electric motor;

Metal pipes or corners are necessary to form the bed - a solid frame, support. The metal sheet will act as a countertop, so you should choose a sufficiently strong material with a minimum thickness of 8 mm. Springs are needed to provide a greater amplitude of vibration, they can be purchased from the aftermarket.

Moped springs are best, you will need two of them, they are large enough and you can cut each in half.

During the installation of the vibrating table, the following tools will be needed:

 • Bulgarian;
 • drill;
 • welding machine

With the help of a grinder, pipes or corners are cut in accordance with previously prepared drawings.

A drill will be needed to drill holes when installing the motor. And with the help of a welding machine, the process of assembling all the details of the table into a monolithic structure is carried out.

Homemade vibrating table for paving slabs

How to choose an engine

In order to make a vibrating table for paving slabs with your own hands, you will need an engine. It can be the simplest, taken, for example, from a washing machine.

Power in this case is not the main indicator, it will be better if it is small. The main characteristic should be an eccentric - a device that provides vibration. If not, a household engine and the question of buying it becomes, it is better to buy a motor with an eccentric, for example, the IV-98 or IV-99 model. They are specially designed for installation on vibrating tables. You can buy such engines both new and used, they will cost 5 - 7 thousand rubles.

If you modify a household motor yourself, you will need a sleeve with a screw and a bolt that is attached to the threaded end. When fastening the bolt, it is necessary to ensure its mobility in the transverse direction.

Vibrating table assembly

Before starting the installation of the vibrating table, it is necessary to prepare drawings. Consider the height and length of the future table. In order for it to be convenient in operation, the height should not exceed 90 cm, length 1800 cm, width 700 - 1800 cm.

It is clear that the larger the area of the table top, the more forms can be placed on it, but the larger the table, the more powerful the engine will be required. Another important point - you need to decide what the table will be - portable or stationary.

Portable is better to make small dimensions, since it will also be necessary to ensure its stability. If a stationary mechanism is planned, you can safely expand the area, and for stability, dig it into the ground or concrete it.

When the dimensions are determined, you can begin to prepare the details. Four legs must be cut out of the metal corners using a grinder, their length will be in accordance with the drawings, 70 mm. You will also need two segments equal to the length of the table and two segments equal to the width of the table. The bed will be formed from them. Four legs and frame elements are welded together using a welding machine.

The next step in the manufacturing process of the vibrating table is the installation of the table top. The top cover should be made of a sheet of durable steel, and the bottom should have attachments for the motor. The lid must be movable, therefore it is attached to the bed with the help of springs or glasses.

Engine position at 45 degree angle

It is enough to place four springs at the corners of the table, if the surface is large, you will need two more springs placed in the center. If there is no spring, you can use glasses, you can make them from pipe scraps. Glasses or springs are welded on one side to the tabletop, on the other - to the frame.

Next, you need to install an electric motor. There are a few things to keep in mind when doing this step. If you place the motor horizontally, then the vibration will go in the vertical direction, by placing it straight you get horizontal waves.

Therefore, the most optimal is the location of the engine at an angle of 45o. in this case, the vibration will propagate in both planes. It is necessary to mount the engine securely, since there is a high probability of its displacement during operation, under the influence of vibration.
When preparing drawings and assembling the vibrating table, it is necessary to compare all the details of the future load.

The working surface must support the weight of the molds with the finished cement mass. And the engine power must correspond to the total weight of the table. All elements must be securely welded, the frame must be rigid and durable.

To start a successful activity in the manufacture of paving slabs, more forms will be needed. They can be made from various materials - metal, plastic, wood. Forms can be purchased ready-made, or you can make it yourself, using your imagination to get an original design.

Video: Homemade vibrating table paving slabs

The process of self-manufacturing of various products from concrete, gypsum and other mixtures requires careful compaction of the mass and removal of air from it. The best assistant in this situation will be a vibrating table. How to make this device with your own hands will be discussed in our article.

The basis of the design of the vibrating table is the table itself, consisting of a base and a platform-tabletop moving within a small range. The best material for their manufacture, no doubt, are metals and their alloys, which have high strength. The most accessible of these is steel. The connection of finished parts of the base and countertop is best done using welded joints.

Based on the foregoing, for the independent manufacture of a vibrating table, you will need:

 1. grinder with cutting discs for metal;
 2. welding machine;
 3. several linear meters of a steel corner 50x50 or a steel rectangular profile of the same section;
 4. steel sheet with a thickness of 3-5 millimeters, the dimensions of which are equal to or greater than the countertop.

Let's start by making the base. To do this, make a rectangular frame from four pairwise equal segments of a profile or corner, connecting the parts at the joints with a weld. Make sure the frame is perfectly flat and square. This can be achieved by cutting the workpieces strictly perpendicular to the axis and welding the parts on a flat base, controlling the equality of the diagonals.

At the corners of the frame, attach four equal segments - the legs of the base. To give additional strength to the connection, which is especially important in the manufacture of massive products, such as concrete blocks, weld steel scarves from a sheet 3 mm thick at the joints. After assembly, check the levelness of the top of the base. If necessary, cut the bottom of the legs slightly with a grinder.

Production of a vibration platform

In addition to the base, it is necessary to make a movable tabletop. It will consist of a rectangular frame, the dimensions of which are identical to those of the table base frame, and a steel top. When manufacturing the second frame, it is necessary to weld an additional steel bar in its middle, on which we will make a small platform for attaching the vibration source.

Particular attention should be paid to the method of fastening the movable working platform of the table to its base. To preserve and enhance vibrations, it is necessary to achieve limited mobility of the tabletop. Most often, strong steel springs operating in compression (with a large distance between the coils) are used for this. To install and fasten these elements, cuts of a steel pipe of a suitable diameter are welded in the upper part of the base frame and the lower part of the tabletop frame. Having picked up a sufficient length of scraps, you can not weld the springs to the table parts, which will greatly facilitate their further replacement in case of breakage. Springs can be purchased at an auto parts store.

With the correct installation and equal lengths of the springs, the base and vibrating platform should be parallel to each other after assembly.

In addition to twisted springs, it is quite possible to use loops from a strong tourniquet or rope. Four rope connections at the corners of the base will center the top platform.

Vibrators factory and homemade

An obligatory part of any vibrating table is a source of vibrations - a vibrator, which can be industrial

or do-it-yourself production. As a rule, it is an electric motor with an eccentric attached to its shaft - a unit whose rotation is carried out with a certain offset relative to the geometric center or center of mass.

The device of factory eccentrics can be different and depends on the necessary operating parameters of the device. More powerful vibrators have a flat plate structure. Their adjustment is carried out by fixing the plates together with different angles of rotation.

In the manufacture of an eccentric for a vibrating table with their own hands, various methods of controlled displacement of the center of mass of the flywheel are used. One of them is the use of a screw of sufficient length, fixed in various positions with a lock nut. Vibration amplification is achieved by unscrewing the bolt, and reduction - by screwing it into a hole in the flywheel mounted on the shaft.

Another option for using threaded parts is to use a nut-bolt pair with M10-M14 threads. A part with a hole is welded to the motor shaft, a bolt is screwed into it and locked in a different position, depending on the required operating parameters.

Vibrating table on a tire

In addition to the described options for self-made vibrating tables on a metal base for the manufacture of small products by cold casting, a fairly simple version of the device can be recommended. We are talking about a vibrating table on a car tire.

It is a flat base made of a piece of chipboard, OSB or thick plywood, in the center of which an independent low-power vibrator is mounted. The basis of such a vibrating table is a tire of any diameter.

As a source of vibration, you can use the most affordable options for electric motors from various household appliances, for example, from washing machines.

The tire is fastened to the working platform with bolts or self-tapping screws. You can also fix a homemade source of vibrations on the screws.

If necessary and ease of use, it is possible to use a pyramid of several tires.

Thus, using the simplest materials, it is possible to manufacture working devices that will greatly facilitate the process of manufacturing concrete or gypsum castings, as well as help to significantly improve their quality.

Video materials on the independent manufacture of a vibrating table:

Dear readers, if you still have questions, ask them using the form below. We will be glad to communicate with you;)

Today, many city dwellers would probably like to have a dacha or a private house, on the territory of which there is a well-groomed lawn and attractive paths. If it is not possible to allocate an impressive amount from the budget, but there is a desire to equip the exterior of the site, then you can make a vibrating table for the production of tiles, which will create material for arranging paths.

Description of the vibrating table

The described design is simple, it is simply indispensable for independent. This device will allow you to make products of different shapes, while concrete mixture should be used as the material.

Do not assume that the vibrating table can only be purchased in specialized stores. You can make such a design yourself. The top plate acts as the base, which is attached to the steel base with a movable joint. Among other things, you will need an engine that will set the surface in motion.

In the process of vibration of the plate, bubbles come out of the molds that are filled with concrete. This is the only way to ensure the proper quality of the product. When making vibrating tables for paving slabs with their own hands, it is necessary to ensure the perfect evenness of the tabletop. It must be smooth, and the motor used must provide uniform vibration.

Preparation of tools and materials

To carry out the work, you will need a steel pipe in the amount of 4 pieces, a metal sheet that will form the basis of the countertop, as well as a metal spring - it will become the movable connection. The master needs a corner with dimensions of 50 x 50 mm, which can be replaced with a channel profile. Make sure you have an engine with the right amount of power. When vibrating tables are made for specialists, they prepare a welding machine, a drill, as well as a grinder. To install the engine, you will need bolts in the amount of 4 pieces.

Manufacturing technology

Despite the fact that the vibrating table is a simple design, the technology described below should be followed in the process of work.

The base on which the tabletop will be fixed should be made from a corner or channel. The dimensions of the vibrating table can be completely different depending on the desire of the master. We will take standard dimensions, which are limited to 700 x 700 mm. If you decide to use other dimensions, then you must remember that they must correspond to the power of the engine used.

When do-it-yourself vibrating tables for paving slabs are made, craftsmen use pipes that act as legs. They should be welded to the base. In order to ensure maximum stability, steel plates must be welded to the legs and reinforced with concrete. If this stage is excluded, then the table during use will move from place to place, while it will be in doubt.

Should be selected individually, but it is important to ensure the convenience of working with the design. Among other things, the engine must be at a certain distance from the ground. If you are making vibrating tables for then springs should be welded from the central part in each corner. Ideally for carrying out these works, those parts that are borrowed from a moped are suitable. They need to be cut in half first.

A sheet of metal should be laid on top of the spring. A material that has a thickness of eight millimeters or more should be used. Bolts will be needed to fix to the engine sheet. If you follow these recommendations, you will be able to make a table that will help produce up to 60 square meters of products during the day.

Engine selection

Before you make a vibrating table with your own hands, you need to think about which engine will be used. The one borrowed from the washing machine is quite suitable for this. Despite the fact that it works properly, it has a rather significant drawback, which is fragility. Such a motor can withstand only about thirty operating cycles. After that, the axle becomes loose or the bearing jams. That is why there is an opinion expressed by home craftsmen that such engines are not able to hold out for a long time under conditions of increased loads, which turn out to be a vibrating table.

As an alternative solution, you can use a vibrator brand IV-99 E for 220 volts. It is sold in stores of relevant goods for 6,000 rubles. Such a design copes with the tasks assigned to it quite well.

Among other things, it is important to prepare a drawing of the vibrating table, it will help to complete the work correctly.

If you draw up a similar circuit, then it should indicate the location of the AC potentiometer, which will regulate the strength of the vibration. In the process of changing the voltage level, it will be possible to adjust the oscillation frequency for a certain type of solution used. However, many craftsmen, thinking about how to make a vibrating table with their own hands, decide to save money using only the engine.

Secrets of the work

It is important to make a table that is not only strong, but also sufficiently resistant to vibration. Only in this way will the structure be able to withstand the loads exerted. The engine must be installed in a specific location. Sometimes it can only be determined empirically. The tabletop will consist of a rectangular frame and a steel sheet. It is sometimes provided with an additional frame on which the source of vibration is fixed. The springs for the vibrating table will allow limited mobility of the countertop, so their choice should be taken seriously.

Conclusion

In addition to the springs mentioned, it is permissible to use loops made of a durable bundle. A rope will work too. Four of these connections, located at the corners of the base, will center the platform located on top. When choosing a vibration motor for a vibrating table, you should take into account that it should not provide an unnecessarily strong displacement of the tabletop relative to its original position. Otherwise, it will not be possible to exclude the spilling of the solution, which was distributed over the forms. That is why it is recommended to first consider factory models.

The manufacture of paving slabs, as well as products made of concrete, gypsum or building mixtures, provides for the compaction of the working composition. Under the influence of vibration, the working solution fills the corner sections of the mold, acquires increased strength and the necessary structure. In order to manufacture concrete products intended for domestic use, you can make a vibrating table with your own hands. This inexpensive and easy-to-manufacture equipment is not inferior to industrial designs in terms of efficiency.

DIY vibrating table

Getting to know the equipment - vibrating table

For machine molding of concrete products poured into special molds, vibration equipment is used - a universal vibrating table. It is possible to make a unit with your own hands, most importantly, to understand its purpose, device and principle of operation. The equipment is a metal structure with a hinged working platform, on which molds are placed.

The plate makes up to three thousand vibrations in one minute, which allows:

 • increase the density of the concrete mass;
 • increase strength characteristics;
 • get rid of air pockets.

As a result of vibration impact, the concrete structure is compacted, which positively affects the quality, as well as the service life of paving slabs and other types of products.

What is the vibrator for?

A small-sized vibrating platform, made at home, is designed to solve a wide range of tasks:

The performance of the device is determined by the area of the working plate, as well as the intensity of vibrations.

Vibrating table - design features

The site intended for vibration molding is a mechanism consisting of the following elements:

 • steel frame. It is a massive metal structure of vertical posts, to which jumpers are rigidly welded;
 • working plate. It is a horizontal base with a collar along the upper contour, which limits the mobility of forms;
 • vibration motor. When installing the motor for the vibrating table with your own hands, you need to pay attention to the mass of the eccentric that transmits vibrations to the plate;
 • movable mount. It provides connection of the plate with the frame. It consists of four spring elements installed in glasses;
 • starting machine. It performs the functions of supplying and disconnecting voltage to the vibration motor, and also protects against thermal overloads.

When deciding how to make a vibrating table yourself, you should pay attention to its performance.

What does the vibrating table consist of?

The main parameters affecting the efficiency of compaction and the quality of manufactured products:

 • amplitude of oscillatory motion;
 • frequency of rotation of the vibration motor shaft.

For optimum performance, it is necessary:

 • choose the right eccentric design;
 • choose the place of attachment of the vibration drive;
 • equip the site with an electric motor of rated power.

The selection of optimal modes is carried out experimentally.

How does a homemade vibrating table work

Before you make a vibrating table, you need to study the principle of operation of the unit.

The molding device works quite simply:

A homemade vibrating table from a washing machine and industrial equipment operate according to the same algorithm.

Getting ready to make a vibrating table with your own hands - materials and tools

Prepare everything you need to make a vibrating table with your own hands. The drawings allow you to determine the list of materials for its construction.

Need to prepare:

Installing a frequency controller will allow you to change the intensity of molding in the manufacture of products from various building materials.

We design a home-made vibrating table with our own hands - simple solutions

When planning to make a universal molding vibrating table with your own hands, the drawings must be purchased in advance or drawn by yourself. It is important to determine the design features of the vibration unit. The following types of compactor are used:

 • molding equipment. It is used for vibratory tamping of concrete mortar poured into casting molds;
 • dismantling device. Designed to extract hardened products from molds using a special tool;
 • non-standard designs. Used to make a limited number of products at home.

The advantage of a simplified design is the ability to assemble in a limited time without additional costs using existing equipment and materials.

Do-it-yourself simple vibrating table scheme

The simplest options:

 • based on car ramps. To assemble the tamping device, you need 2-3 slopes, a hammer, as well as a wooden shield, the dimensions of which allow you to place the molds. The compaction process occurs when the molds are installed on a wooden board located on the tires. When tapped with a rubber mallet, the concrete composition is compacted;
 • using a drill or hammer drill. The design uses a plate made of a metal sheet or a board shield. The tabletop is placed on a horizontal base and rests against the wall with a damper made from a piece of rubber. When the perforator connected to the opposite side of the base is turned on, the material is compacted.

Other options are also possible, involving the use of an old washing machine, as well as used electric motors from household appliances.

We develop a drawing of a vibrating table

You need to know when developing a drawing on a vibrating table, how to make it right.

For this it is necessary:

 • use proven documentation, according to which the vibration platform was previously manufactured;
 • independently develop a sketch using a valid sample.
 • the optimal dimensions of the countertop are 50x100 cm;
 • the distance from the floor to the work surface should not exceed 80 cm.

How to make a vibrating table yourself

When developing a drawing, it is important to consider the following requirements:

 • the engine must not touch the base or metal structure elements;
 • the surface of the desktop is horizontal;
 • frame legs must be of equal length to ensure stability;
 • stiffeners are installed in the corners to increase stability.

Prior to the development of working documentation, it is necessary to first determine the dimensions of the unit and the place of attachment of the motor. It is desirable to place the vibration motor in the center of mass of the entire metal structure.

We select the engine for the vibrating table

Various motors can be used as a source of vibrations:

 • used or new motor up to 1000 watts. It is capable of transmitting vibration to a tabletop with dimensions of 0.8x1.5 m. Two eccentrics must be fixed on the drive shaft of the electric motor, the angular position of which can be changed. This will allow you to adjust the amplitude and strength of the oscillations;
 • vibration motor of industrial production. It must be attached to the desktop surface. The standard vibration motor is equipped with eccentrics mounted on opposite sides of the shaft. By adjusting the mutual position of imbalances, it is possible to change the level of vibration impact.

In a home-made version of the vibration drive, the motor shaft bearings are subjected to increased loads under the influence of alternating vibrations. The purchased vibrator, which has an increased service life, is deprived of this disadvantage.

It is also possible to fix a shaft on bearing supports to the lower plane of the table, which has a displaced center of gravity. Using a belt drive, the structure can be connected to the motor pulley. The level and direction of vibration in this variant is controlled by the position of the eccentrically fixed load.

When assembling and device, observe safety measures:

 • use safety goggles when welding and working with a "grinder";
 • ground the power tool and the device drive;
 • perform welding work in special clothing.

Do not forget that in the room where they cook, there should be a fire extinguisher.
