I won't say that I make slow cooker sausage soup very often, but sometimes it really is the best and fastest way to get a hearty and warming first course for lunch.

My family and friends really like this soup; they gobble it up and it’s already crackling behind the ears :). But I repeat that I try to take better sausages and not smoked ones. Milk or creamy ones are best; they have a delicate, unobtrusive smell. However, no one has canceled personal preferences, so take your favorite sausages and go for it :)!

Soup with sausages in a slow cooker recipe

Cut the onion into small cubes.

Grate a small carrot on a coarse grater.

Turn on the multicooker to the Frying or Baking mode for 20 minutes. Pour vegetable oil into the bowl. Add onions and carrots. Sauté until the onion is transparent.

Cut the peeled potatoes into small cubes and add them to the bowl with the fried vegetables, stir several times.

Pour a liter of boiling water into the bowl, add a little salt and pepper, add a bay leaf and a few peas of allspice.

We cut the sausages into rings 1 cm thick and also add them to the soup. I keep a supply of sausages in the freezer, so I cut them straight from frozen so as not to waste time.

When the soup boils, turn off the Frying mode and switch to the Stew mode for 20 minutes. I have a special Soup mode in my multicooker, but I prefer to cook soups in the Stew mode, it turns out tastier, since the soup does not boil, does not become cloudy, but rather simmers over low heat, it turns out transparent and rich. Let the finished soup brew for 15 minutes.
