All about Saint Martha, who grants a wish.

  • 29.09.2019

Friends, good afternoon. You must have "dropped in here" to find "a very powerful prayer to St. Martha." Indeed, the Internet is replete with detailed "recipes" for the fulfillment of desires, getting rid of any adversity, with prayers to St. Martha. Moreover, you can find sites where the authors "blinded together" as many as two different historical figures. So who is Saint Martha, who is who and what is this " strong prayer to Saint Martha” is the topic of today’s post.

Which Martha "grants a wish"?

I want to start with the fact that in Orthodoxy the Catholic name Marta is read as Martha.

The Orthodox Church venerates the memory of saints with the name Martha:
  • February 19 - Martha of Asia, mts., virgin
  • March 16 - Martha (Kovrova), promts., novice / novomuch. /
  • April 18 - Martha of Bethany. [sister of Lazar the Four-day]. Moveable: on the Sunday of St. myrrh-bearing women
  • April 25 - Martha of Bethany. [sister of Lazar the Four Day]
  • April 26 - Martha (Testova), prmts. /novomuch./
  • June 17 - Martha of Bethany. [sister of Lazar the Four Day]
  • June 22 - Martha of Persia, mts.
  • July 17 - Martha of Antioch, Edessa
  • July 19 - Martha Persian, Roman, mts.
  • September 3 - Martha Diveevskaya (Milyukova), St.
  • September 14 - Martha of Cappadocia
  • November 21 - Martha of Pskov, St.

In addition, many Orthodox people honor the memory of Blessed Martha of Tsaritsyn. I’ll make a reservation right away that: “Blessed Martha Tsaritsynskaya has not yet been canonized, but now historical material is being collected for the canonization commission under the Patriarchate” (based on materials Volga newspaper "I Believe" (June 2002) article about Blessed Martha, prepared by Alla Chudinova).

It was Saint Martha of Bethany and Martha of Tsaritsyn that many bloggers combined into one historical figure, attributing a mystical prayer of clearly non-Orthodox content to their recipe.

So which one of them "fulfills" desires? Let's figure it out.

Since I do not have the goal of a detailed biography, I will limit myself to brief milestones in their life.

HOLY MARTHA (MARPHA) OF BETHANA

There is very little information about Saint Martha, but nevertheless the Lord glorified her name among the saints. Let's take a quick look at what we know about this saint.

Saint Martha of Bethany is the sister of Lazarus the Four Days (whom the Lord resurrected in front of many witnesses) and Mary (who loved to listen to the Lord, for which Martha once reproached her). Who cares about these two amazing stories I advise you to learn about this from Luke and John. It is from the story of Martha and her sister Mary that we learn that there are two kinds of service to the Lord.

A woman named Martha received Him into her house; she had a sister, named Mary, who sat down at the feet of Jesus and listened to His word. Martha, however, was anxious about a great treat, and, coming up, said: Lord! Or do you not need that my sister left me alone to serve? tell her to help me. Jesus answered her and said, Martha! Martha! you care and fuss about many things, but only one thing is needed; Mary chose the good part, which will not be taken away from her.
( )

Saint Martha, however, like her sister, ardently believed in Jesus Christ even before the resurrection of Lazarus, and with honor brought this faith to the end of her days.

We also know that Saint Martha, together with her sister and brother, as well as Saints Maximinus, Martellus and Cydonius, went to preach Christ in Gaul, where she, 30 years later, died in a hermitage.

In Orthodoxy, Saint Martha is revered in the rank of myrrh-bearing women of the righteous saints.

MARFA Tsaritsynskaya

The only photo of Martha

Marfa (there is an opinion that the real name of the woman is Medvenskaya, although even the worldly name of the woman is not known for certain) was born in 1880 in Tsaritsyn (Volgograd).

The young girl, after graduating from the gymnasium, went to the city of Petersburg, to meet with John of Kronstadt and received a blessing from him.

Father John foresaw that the girl was destined to serve the Lord and blessed her on the difficult path of foolishness for Christ's sake. The future saint ordered her to call herself Martha and give up everything earthly "so that she would walk and remind people of God."

At the end of 1908, after the death of John, Martha returned to Tsaritsyn, where at first she settled in a barn in the courtyard of her parents' house, and then began to spend the night right on the street, in the open air.

According to the townspeople, Martha visited only pious families, preferring the families of simple workers. Like the saint, they tried to invite Martha to their house. People began to notice that after her visit, peace reigns in the family, the sick recover, prosperity appears. With spiritual advice, purity of heart and miracles of healing, Martha won the love of the townspeople. People who came to her for several days waited for the reception of mother.

In addition to the miracle of healing, God gave Martha the gift of foresight. She predicted: Russo-Japanese War, the first world, revolution, regicide, the Great Patriotic War.

Do you know that Martha Tsaritsynskaya was called a saint during her lifetime? True, she was very negative about such statements.

Visiting wealthy families, Martha urged them to donate their money for the construction of temples and churches. At her prayers and at her call, the townspeople who revered mother found the means and strength to complete the construction of the Holy Spirit Monastery, and even as a sign of respect they laid out a small cell, especially for Martha.

Grigory Rasputin, arriving in the city of Tsaritsyn, tried to visit Marfa, meeting her with the words: “Hello, bride of Christ!”.

Martha died at the age of 45. They buried her in the Holy Spirit Monastery. Martha's prophetic words came true that she would be buried 3 times. And indeed, after in the holy monastery Soviet authorities they arranged a prison for kulaks, Martha's grave was transferred to the Alekseevskaya Church, and after the church was closed, the grave was transferred to the Central Cemetery. And Martha’s words came true that suffering people would come to her grave for help, and she would listen to and help everyone who came.

As I wrote above, materials are currently being collected for the glorification of Blessed Martha.

A FEW WORDS ABOUT "PRAYER FOR HOLY MARCH FOR THE FULFILLMENT OF WISHES"

Now that you have learned about the earthly lives of both Martha (March), it's time to talk about the amazing “prayer with recipes for the fulfillment of desires,” which I spoke about at the beginning of the post.

As you probably already understood, this is not a prayer, but pure water conspiracy. Moreover, a conspiracy that slightly resembles a Catholic prayer to St. Martha of Bethany. Of course, no saint responds to a text of dubious content. Yes, the saints help us, they pray to God for us and miracles happen through their prayers, but this does not mean at all that, for example, Saint Martha grants wishes, and Saint Spyridon of Myra helps to get rich.

SEE WHAT BATYUSHKA SAYS ABOUT THIS

SO WHAT, THERE IS NO STRONG PRAYER?

Of course there is. And let me repeat myself, but: “The most powerful prayer is the one that comes from the depths of the heart, the one that is backed up by the strongest power of love and a disinterested, sincere desire to help another.” The saints help us not because of a combination of certain words spoken to them, but help us by looking at our hearts and aspirations, for our good and according to the Will of the Lord.

If you understood me correctly, then believe and pray with all the strength of your soul to Saint Martha. And this prayer will be truly "strong".

PRAYER TO SAINT MARF AND MARY

O holy and all-praise disciples of Christ, God-loving Martha and Mary! Beg your beloved and you who loved the Sweetest Jesus, Him you confessed, Christ, the Son of God, may he give us, sinners, remission of sins, in the faith of the right unfeigned and firm standing.

Instill in our hearts the spirit of the fear of God, humble hope in God, patience and mercy towards our neighbors. Deliver us with your prayers from the temptations of life, troubles and misfortunes, yes, a quiet and peaceful life has lived here, with immaculate thoughts and a pure heart, with the boldness of faith and hope, we will stand on it Last Judgment and, having repaid a good answer to it, we will be honored with eternal joys in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Amen. That's all. God bless everyone.

In Christianity, branched into various directions, there are often saints canonized in only one branch, that is, elevated to the rank of righteous after the split of the church. But at the same time, both in Catholicism and in Orthodoxy there are those whose memory is revered by both branches. This is explained by the fact that these saints were canonized before the split of Christianity. One of them is Saint Martha. This righteous woman of God lived at the same time as Jesus Christ and knew him personally, believed in God even before his miraculous Resurrection.

There is one important note. In Catholicism, the righteous is known as Saint Martha. Orthodoxy calls her Martha. The story of her life and good deeds will be told in this article.

Excursion into history

The Bible refers us to the distant past - at the time when Jesus Christ lived and preached on Earth. As you know, not all people were disposed towards Him benevolently. But not the sisters Martha and Mary and their brother Lazarus. Jesus loved to visit their home in Bethany.

The two sisters - Saint Martha and Saint Mary - were completely different. The first was the personification of activity. She constantly fussed and busied herself with the housework, wanting to cook the best for the guests. The second of the sisters, Mary, forgetting about household duties, wanted only to listen to the sermons of Christ. She believed that everything earthly is mortal compared to divine providence.

Martha somehow shamed her sister in front of a guest.

She complained that the enthusiastic girl did not want to help her with the housework. To these statements of the offended sister, Jesus replied that Martha was fussing about many things, but you need to worry about only one thing - the salvation of the soul. The second episode, in which Saint Martha is mentioned, is connected with her brother, Lazarus, who fell ill and needed the help of Jesus Christ. At that time, the Son of God was far beyond the borders of Bethany and did not have time to arrive in the city to heal the sick. Lazarus is dead. His sisters - Saint Martha and Saint Mary - had already begun to mourn the loss of their brother, as Jesus Christ arrived in the city and resurrected the deceased.

The role of Martha in biblical tales

In Christianity, Saint Martha is one of the myrrh-bearing women. She is considered the patroness of the household, as well as servants, waiters, cooks.

Also, the memory of the righteous is immortalized in churches, monasteries, which are named after her. So, in Russia in honor of St. Martha they settled down, and even now there are prayer houses built in honor of the myrrh-bearing women.

To appeal to the righteous, it is not necessary to visit churches that bear her name. Only an image depicting Saint Martha is desirable. Icon (photo is allowed - it doesn't matter). If there is no image or photograph, then this is a small problem. You can say prayers without the icon of the righteous. There are a lot of holy texts dedicated to this saint. Moreover, it is not necessary to pronounce any church texts, you can pray in your own words. Saint Martha will surely hear prayers that sincerely come from a pure heart, in which there is no malicious intent.

Prayer to Saint Martha for the fulfillment of a wish

"Save me, God!". Thank you for visiting our site, before you start studying the information, please subscribe to our Vkontakte group Prayers for every day. Also visit our page in Odnoklassniki and subscribe to her Prayers for every day Odnoklassniki. "God bless you!".

Sometimes it happens that people really want something and in order to achieve what they want, they are ready to do anything: make a deal with their conscience, deceive and cunning, abandon their family and neglect their feelings.

So, some are trying and making every effort to achieve, while others are just waiting for a miracle. Some achieve their result, but others can fight and do their best, but in the end they get nothing. So in such cases, it is recommended to turn to Saint Martha with a prayer for the fulfillment of a wish.

Who is Saint Martha

There is a large number of saints who can help in achieving results, but most often Saint Martha is singled out among them.

V Orthodox scriptures it is said that she lived at the same time as Christ. She knew him personally. She believed in his divine power even before his Resurrection. Often in Orthodoxy, she is most often found as Saint Martha.

She is said to have been one of the sisters. Martha and Maria were not alike. They were called the complete opposite. Marta constantly busied herself with housework, tried to provide the guests with the best and often stomped in various household chores. At the same time, her sister constantly went to Christ's sermons, forgetting about household chores. Her worldview was based on the fact that household chores were petty and mortal before divine providence.

One day Martha decided to express her indignation about this to her sister in front of a guest. To such words, the Lord said that Mary was more concerned about the salvation of her soul, and did not fuss about many things.

The next memory of her was an episode with her brother Lazarus. One day Christ was far away from Bethany. At that time, Lazarus became very ill and Jesus did not have time to arrive in order to heal him. The patient died. The sisters had already begun to mourn him. But as soon as Christ returned, he resurrected the dead.

Often Martha is also called one of the myrrh-bearing women. She is considered the patroness of: cooks, servants, waiters, as well as the entire household.

They read the prayer of St. Martha and ask for help in:

  • healing,
  • Enlightenment
  • A speedy and successful marriage,
  • The onset of a desired and long-awaited pregnancy,
  • Household guardian,
  • Fulfillment of desires
  • Solving money issues
  • division of property,
  • Looking for work.

How to read the prayer of Saint Martha

If you want to ask the Saint for something, then for this it is not necessary to go to a church or any temple. It is recommended to have at least the face of a saint. There are a large number of texts of prayers to St. Martha.

You can read not church texts, but ask in your own words. They will certainly be heard if they do not carry malicious intent and come from a pure heart. If you want her to help fulfill your desire, then you need to complete a certain cycle of prayers for her. Your desire should be clearly formulated and it will be better if it is written by you personally.

So, for the ritual, it is necessary to remain in new clothes (women - a nightgown, men - pajamas). While pronouncing the words, you must clearly visualize the fulfillment of your desire. And then say the following prayer words:

I turn to you for help!

And completely in my needs, and you will be my helper

in my trials!

I promise you with gratitude

that I will spread this prayer everywhere!

I humbly, tearfully ask -

console me in my worries and hardships!

Submissively, for the sake of great joy,

that filled your heart

I tearfully ask you - take care of me and my family,

so that we keep our God in our hearts

and by that they deserved the Saved Most High Intermediary,

First of all, with the care that now burdens me ....

help me meet my beloved and create a happy family; etc.)…

... Tearfully I ask you, Helper in every need,

conquer hardships as you conquered the snake,

until I lay at your feet!”

“Our Father, who art in heaven! May your name be hallowed; let your kingdom come; Thy will be done, as in heaven and on earth; give us our daily bread today; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one; for yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen."

“Virgin Mother of God, rejoice!

Blessed Mary, the Lord is with you!

Blessed are You in Wives and Blessed

fruit of thy womb,

like the Savior gave birth to our souls!

“Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit! And now, and forever, and forever and ever! Amen!" - Read 1 time

"Saint Martha, ask Jesus for us!" - Read 9 times

During the ritual, a candle should burn on the right side of the table. It will be good if it is church. She must burn to the end. You need to read the words 9 Tuesdays in a row. If the desire was fulfilled earlier, then still bring it to the end. If you missed Tuesday, then start all over again.

It is advisable to take a bath or shower before the ritual. And also to be alone in the room and retire in your thoughts. In addition, it is not recommended to print texts. It is better to copy them by hand. And it is also desirable to write a desire with your own hand, so that it sounds the same every time.

But the most important thing is a sincere faith in the Lord and a positive result of what was conceived. And then everything will come true!

Dreams Come True!

I stumbled upon it again, I will try again

Nearby (on the right) a candle should burn on the table. You can use any candle, but preferably a church, small one.

The time of day, morning or evening, doesn't matter. If the candle is church, let it burn out to the end; if otherwise, let it burn for 15-20 minutes, and then you can put it out (do not blow it out!). It is better if the candle is lubricated with bergamot oil (palm, from bottom to top, from the base of the candle to the wick). And it’s also better if there are fresh flowers nearby! But bergamot and flowers are not necessary, but very desirable!

thanks for the prayer, how did you know about it?

I just read a prayer (which takes less than 5 minutes) and my wish came true. This is everyone's business. I shared.

The only good topic in the chat room is probably yours at the moment. The rest of the bots created ..

Never helped.

In particular, Maria Latore, what wish did you make and how did it come true that you already decided to add these prayers to this asshole)))

Sima, I advise you to correct it to “useful”. So it will be more logical.

Prayer to Saint Martha (for the fulfillment of desires)

621 messages

Prayer is very powerful. Fulfills all desires, if they are pleasing to heaven, that is, if you do not harm anyone voluntarily or involuntarily with your desire. Most often, wishes are fulfilled before the end of the reading cycle.

The reading of the prayer consists of 5 stages.

Stage 1 - Read a prayer once

"Oh Saint Martha, You are Miraculous. I turn to you for help! And completely in my needs, and you will be my helper in my trials! With gratitude I promise you that I will spread this prayer everywhere! I humbly, tearfully ask, comfort me in my worries I humbly, for the sake of the great joy that filled your heart, I tearfully ask you to take care of me and my family so that we save our God in our hearts and thereby deserve the Saved Almighty Mediation, first of all with the care that I now weighs (Further desire, for example, help me find a job, etc..) I tearfully ask you, Helper in every need, win You hardships the way you defeated the Serpent, until you lay at your feet!

Stage 2 - We read "Our Father" once

Stage 3 - Once we read the prayer to the Holy Mother of God:

"Theotokos, Virgin, rejoice! Gracious Mary, the Lord is with Thee! Blessed are You in Wives and Blessed is the Fruit of Thy Womb, for Thou hast given birth to our souls as the Savior!"

Stage 4 - Read once:

"Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit! And now, and forever, and forever and ever! Amen!"

Stage 5 and final - 9 times we read:

"Saint Martha, ask Jesus for us!"

Prayer CANNOT be printed and read. It is necessary to copy all the texts by hand and already use them. The rewritten text cannot be given to others, except perhaps in order for a person to rewrite prayers. Each person must copy them with his own hand and use these already.

When reading a prayer, a candle should burn next to (on the right) on the table. You can do any, but better church, small. It doesn't matter what time of day it is, whether it's afternoon or evening. When it's convenient for you, then it's best. If the candle is church, then let it burn out to the end, and if it is an ordinary one, then it can burn for 15-20 minutes. And then you can put out (but NOT blow out!). It is better if the candle is smeared with bergamot oil (This essential oil sold everywhere, so buying it is not a problem). Lubricate with the palm of your hand from the bottom up, from the base of the candle to the wick. It is also better if there are fresh flowers nearby. But oil and flowers are not necessary, but only very desirable.

Also, it is advisable to swim and wear light-colored clothes before reading prayers (any). You need to be alone in the room (you can’t be distracted, you need to direct your thoughts only to this matter and not spend them worrying that someone will break into the room and see you doing this. Therefore, choose the best time for you on Tuesday).

It is better to write down the desire on paper so that it always sounds the same.

One cycle, one wish.

Good luck to you all. I hope it will help you too. Please write your reviews here if you have already heard about this prayer or used it. It is very interesting to know your opinion and feedback.

SECRET, POWER OF THOUGHT, VISUALIZATION OF THE MIND - this is Satanism from the position of religion (Christianity and Islam) Only Eastern practices support the theory of the unreality of this world. By the way, Kabbalah (Jewish mystical philosophical school) is also of the same opinion. You can ask anyone, pray, appeal to something and not have any success, or realize that there are no obstacles in front of you and God (the gods, the universal mind), that he has already given everything and praying for something is stupid. I say this because the rules of communication with God (from the standpoint of religions) are written by a person, but how can they work if a person as matter does not exist? What is this illusion? People's thoughts about the reality of this illusion brought religion and war into this illusion, and in the wake of this, fear. And fear makes this illusion real. And religion is first of all fear! Or am I wrong again?

Stage 5 - you repeat these words 9 times (Holy March, ask Jesus for us)

And so 9 Tuesdays in a row. If you get lost, start the countdown again))

See what stage to refer to in my very first message)) GOOD LUCK!!!

But don’t get hung up, it probably doesn’t even make a difference - you were in white clothes .. or in black .. the main thing is your inner state and your faith))) But if you feel uncomfortable when you are not in white while reading, wear it. The main thing is to be comfortable and calm inside))

But I missed one Tuesday ((Now you need everything from the beginning .. that's what it means to let go of your desire, so let go that you forgot about prayer))) Nothing, I'll start all over again)))

That's right! When I read a prayer or a conspiracy, I myself begin to think, look for solutions, and insight comes. And although initially you relied on someone from above, in the end you do everything almost by yourself. Because these words mobilize you, give you strength, and besides, you clearly define what you want. Maybe this is partly the meaning and was incorporated into the prayers from the very beginning. After all, the ancients knew our psyche and soul much better.

Also interested. I suppose it is necessary to write everything on the sheet: all the prayer in order and the desire among them, where it says "according to the scheme." And read from it every time. And then where is it? Burn, bury or eat?

Although I used to act (and I acted extremely rarely) without icons, I am inclined to believe that the image of the saint you pray to should be in front of you at home or in church, but the one you are addressing is obligatory. There must be a symbolic contact.

In general, believe me, good luck to everyone.

And there was Saint Martha (or Martha in Catholic tradition) sister of Lazarus resurrected by Christ and one of the myrrh-bearing women.

Usually believers know several names of the most famous saints and righteous people, although in fact there are many more of them. One of these "unknown" personalities can be considered Saint Martha, in Orthodox Church- Marfa. They often turn to her for help in difficult situations. life situations. The prayer to St. Martha for the fulfillment of a wish is often found in the form of conspiracies, although it is a common appeal to the saint.

Martha is known from the Gospels of John and Luke, more precisely, from the story of Lazarus. Martha, Mary and Lazarus were sisters and a brother who lived together in one of the villages. Mary often forgot about household chores, constantly listened only to the sermons of Christ and in general had little interest in earthly life, believing that the afterlife is much more important. Marta, on the contrary, always tried to treat her guests to something tasty, looked after them and busied herself with the housework.

Seeing that her sister was sitting near Christ and not helping her, Martha reproached Mary: “Why don't you want to help me? I don’t have time to prepare a delicious dinner for such an important guest.” However, Christ himself replied that Mary chose the good path of service, and Martha cares about many things in vain, although he (Christ) needs only one thing.

Martha is mentioned again in the story of the resurrection of Lazarus. She met Christ, who was in a hurry to say goodbye to a friend of Christ, while Mary was sitting with her dead brother, and reported that Lazarus had died. She asked to be resurrected, and Jesus said to her: "Your brother will be resurrected."

The real name of the saint, the sister of Lazarus, mentioned in the Gospel is Martha. Martha is a variant in the Orthodox Church. The saint is one of the myrrh-bearing women who hurried to the tomb of Christ on the night before his resurrection to wash the body and put incense.

The name itself comes from Greek name, which came from the Aramaic "Mistress" or "Lady". In Hebrew, "Marta" means "bitter". It is not surprising that in Christianity, Martha is the patroness of the household and the family, as well as all those associated with the kitchen and cooking: cooks, waiters, etc.

In Orthodoxy, several saints are revered at once with the name Martha or Martha, but Blessed Martha Tsaritsynskaya is especially famous. The latter can be considered a “unique” person: she was born at the end of the century before last, she faced miracles all her life, left behind many interesting prophecies, but her biography is full of white spots and guesswork.

Even her real name is unknown (according to some sources, she is Medvedskaya), some researchers question her name as well. This is due to the lack of any information in the newspapers of that time: all the data was left by the contemporaries of the blessed one, the oldest of whom died more than fifty years ago.

She was born in Tsaritsyn (now Volgograd) in 1880 in a wealthy family, she graduated from the local gymnasium. Martha was the only child in the family who grew up in parental love. Since childhood, she was pious and humble, loved to listen to the stories of the pilgrims and even went with them several times.

At the end of the gymnasium, the parents let the girl go to St. Petersburg to the then-famous Father John of Kronshdat, the founder of the Kronstadt St. Andrew's Cathedral. He blessed her with special instruction. Her father asked her to spread faith in Christ and teach people the correct understanding of this faith, to walk the earth and remind of the Lord. There is also a legend that it was Father John who gave the girl the name Martha, and also predicted that she would become a famous preacher in the Volga region.

Returning home, the girl told her parents that she was taking on the feat of foolishness and returning to St. Petersburg to study with John. After the death of the latter in 1908, Marfa nevertheless returned to Tsaritsyn and settled in a barn in the backyard of her parents. In the city, she collected money for churches, prayed, predicted the future, and preached. The blessed one was constantly invited to houses, believing that the house in which she would spend the night would be blessed.

The blessed one urged the inhabitants to build the Holy Spiritual Monastery: she collected donations, often prayed for the construction, and asked everyone to help. It was completed in 1911; a small cell was built for Martha herself in the monastery.

She survived the revolution, the First world war and change of power. Martha Tsaritsynskaya died in 1925, predicting before her death that she would be buried three times. And so it happened: for the first time it was buried in the cemetery of the Holy Spirit Monastery. When it was closed, the relics were transferred to the Alekseevskaya cemetery - there was a church built by the merchant at the insistence of Martha. After the war, when the Alekseevskoye cemetery was destroyed, it was moved to Dmitrovskoye, where Martha now rests. Pilgrims constantly came to her grave even in Soviet times.

Today you can find her grave at Volgograd, Karl Liebknecht Street, 2a, Central Dmitrov Cemetery. You can get to it from the railway station by trolleybus 7 or 10, stop - "Tekhnikum".

Miracles and predictions of the blessed

During her lifetime, the blessed one often predicted the future, but she did it allegorically. Below are some of her predictions regarding the Inin family. In this family, Martha often spent the night in a barn with goats:

  1. For the eldest daughter, Lusha, the saint somehow predicted a trip to Moscow. Lusha replied that they did not have any relatives in Moscow, and there was no one to leave their family (husband and son) to. But Marfa repeated about the trip, adding that there are many relatives in Moscow, they will meet with their family there. Three weeks later, Lusha died of a heart attack, and a month later her husband died, soon a son;
  2. For the middle sister, Anna, Martha predicted a difficult but long life, said that she would endure all trials. The prediction came true;
  3. The youngest, Evdokia, the saint did not at all advise getting married. Once she even began to drive the girl with a broom, saying: “Where is your braid? Why did you cut it off?" Evdokia, crying, showed a whole braid, but blessed Martha meant girlhood, and by cutting her off - marriage. When Evdokia got married a few years later, her husband left her with a small child.

Empress Alexandra Feodorovna also came to Martha Tsaritsynskaya. When the blessed one entered the room where the empress was waiting, she threw the eight dolls she was holding onto the floor, doused them with red liquid and set them on fire, shouting: “It's all you, you! Here is your future! You will burn everything! I see a lot of blood!".

Another legend is connected with Melnikova Antonina. As a child, the girl suffered from dropsy and begged her father to take her to Martha, whose healing was then rumored. The father did not agree for a long time, but nevertheless took his daughter to the village. The blessed one was found only at noon. Seeing her, the girl burst into tears in pain and said that she must die soon. Marfa nodded, seated Antonina next to her, laid her head on her knees, and began to pray for her. A few hours later, all the excess fluid left the girl's body, and she fully recovered.

Antonina became very attached to Martha, often came to her, and after that she began to go with the blessed one as a novice. After her, memories of the life and habits of Martha were preserved.

Prayer of the blessed

During her lifetime, Saint Martha of Tsaritsyn helped many people - she predicted the future or warned, prayed for recovery or well-being. After her death, miracles did not disappear: many pilgrims who came to the saint were healed or received what they wanted ( new job, love). There are many records about this, they are constantly replenished.

Saint Martha is addressed in the following cases:

People usually come to the blessed one’s grave to ask for something especially important: health for the family, finding love, etc. Many believe that in this case the words will “reach” Martha faster and will have greater power. Also, the conversion will intensify when you pray on your birthday or on April 18 (the day of memory of Martha of Bethany, sister of Lazarus). It is worth taking bread or crumbs for birds with you to the grave - the blessed one loved all living things and constantly fed animals and birds.

But to pray to Saint Martha, it is not necessary to go to her grave: this can be done at home, in front of her icon.

To do this, you must follow a few recommendations:

On the Internet, it is easy to find Martha's prayer for the fulfillment of desires (strong or miraculous, conspiracies), for example, the prayer of St. Martha "Ask Jesus for us." It is worth noting that the blessed one does not grant wishes or requests by magic. She is a "mediator" between the believer and the Lord, her appeal to God strengthens the request. The very same help in fulfilling a desire usually consists in creating the conditions for its fulfillment. For example, a person looking for a job will come across an ad for a suitable position, but whether to call on the phone is up to him.

Prayer to Saint Martha for the fulfillment of a wish

Prayer is very powerful. Fulfills all desires (if it is pleasing to Heaven - it means that you will not harm anyone with your desires voluntarily or involuntarily); desires are often granted before the end of the reading cycle.

“Oh Holy Martha, You are Miraculous! I turn to you for help!

And completely in my needs, and you will be my helper in my trials! I promise you with gratitude that I will spread this prayer everywhere!

I humbly, tearfully ask - comfort me in my worries and hardships! I humbly, for the sake of the great joy that filled your heart, I tearfully ask you to take care of me and my family, so that we save our God in our hearts and thereby deserve the Saved Almighty Mediation, first of all with the care that is now burdening me ....

I tearfully ask you, Helper in every need, conquer hardships the way you defeated the snake, until you lay at your feet!

Our Father, who art in heaven!
Hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come,
May Thy will be done, as in heaven and on earth.
Give us our daily bread today;
And leave us our debts, as we leave our debtors,
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
Father and Son and Holy Spirit
And now, and forever, and forever and ever.
Amen!

3. Prayer to the Most Holy Theotokos- Read 1 time

“Virgin Mother of God, rejoice! Blessed Mary, the Lord is with you! Blessed are You in Wives and Blessed is the Fruit of Your Womb, as if the Savior gave birth to our souls!”

4. “Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit! And now, and forever, and forever and ever! Amen!» - Read 1 time

5. “Holy Martha, ask Jesus for us!» - Read 9 times

If the wish came true earlier - still read to the end of the cycle (all 9 Tuesdays).

Nearby (on the right) a candle should burn on the table. You can use any candle, but preferably a church, small one.

The time of day - morning or evening - does not matter. If the candle is church, let it burn out to the end; if it’s different, let it burn for 15-20 minutes, and then you can put it out (do not blow it out!). It is better if the candle is lubricated with bergamot oil (palm, from bottom to top, from the base of the candle to the wick). And it’s also better if there are fresh flowers nearby! But bergamot and flowers are not necessary, but very desirable!

It is better to write down the desire on paper so that it always sounds the same when reading the entire text of the prayer. One cycle - one desire.

Prayer cannot be printed and read; you need to copy all the texts by hand and already use them! The text you have rewritten cannot be transferred to others - each person must rewrite the text of the prayers with his own hand (you can dictate to him or simply give your or this printed text for rewriting).
